kissing death and loosing my breath
Wearily her gaze swept over the two vampires that stood in front of her, cradling the were-creature that Serafina had once helped before. It wasn't as if she distrusted their species by nature, in fact Serafina didn't particularly hate any species, even those that attempted to hunt her her down. However, despite her perhaps overly open mind, she couldn't help but to judge them swiftly, especially considering the scene she was presented with. The last time she had seen the large Anaconda, the snake was getting along with her new world just fine - or at least she'd left her store under the guise of attempting to do so with a rather hopeful outlook on her future. Now, she clearly was wounded, a story that was corroborated by the demure auburn haired woman that stepped out from behind the protective stance of her companion. For a lingering moment, her stormy gaze stared blankly at the two, as if she was somehow in disbelief. After all, how could one miss a snake that large laying in the middle of the road? What the hell was she even doing in the middle of the road in the first place?

There was a soft sigh upon her lips as she considered their request, in the end, it was the desperate look of the two women in front of her that caused Serafina to give in. "Okay, okay." She muttered, stepping forward to take a look at the female only to stop dead within her tracks by the sound of a familiar baritone voice. Serafina pivoted in place, her lips pressing together ever so slightly as she observed the figure standing in front of her. In truth, she was rather fond of the blond Dark Hunter. There was something about him that caused her thoughts to occasionally wander towards him, despite her best efforts to remain steadfast to the warlock she had started....well, something with. What that something was, she wasn't certain of yet. Regardless, her stormy eyes lingered upon the man, out of her periphery she noted the fashion at which Raven returned to her side, for once choosing not to engage the Dark Hunter in whatever ridiculous trifle the pair had with each other. It wasn't until the girl's voice cut through her thoughts that Serafina's attention shifted from the man before her. A small snort left her nose at the simple sentence, entirely unable to believe the wolf. One moment Raven was griping at her for giving her attentions to Azrael and the next she was attempting to instill some kind of hope within her.

"Shush, we have other things to tend to. Bethel is hurt and the both of you are going to behave until I get her fixed." She commented with a firm tone, clearly unwilling to be argued with at the present moment. She shook her head ever so slightly, her eyes rolling as she immediately turned her attention back to Bethel. She reached out, her fingertips going to Bethel's neck to check on the necklace that she'd given the female the last time they had met, her grey tinged gaze studying the amulet intensely. What Serafina didn't notice, however, was the object moving in her bag till the gloves slipped out, falling onto the cement with a small clatter. The gloves had been eagerly sold by a particular purple eyed, raven haired woman in her efforts to get enough cash to escape the city after her friend had disappeared from their shared apartment. The article of clothing was quite desperate to be discovered, if only due to the soul that had some how become attached to them.
