Despite her hesitance, Chizue had taken up the position asked of her within the Red on the Water tavern for the man she had strove so steadfast to befriend. Waitressing was by far the least of her favorite positions that she'd held throughout the years. The constant social demands often overwhelmed the demure girl, leaving her entirely drained by the end of the day. She did her best though, present every morning on time with a smile on her face, doing her best to keep her struggles internal. It was an unspoken rule that feeding upon their patrons was entirely off limits, causing Chizue to venture out of her comfort zone. The vampire girl was exhausted and weary, her soul depleted of that life force that she leeched off of. It was enough to cause her to venture into the busy far with the sole intent of a quick meal - no matter whom or what it was. At least, such had been her plan as she stepped over the threshold of the club. Her fingertips reached up, brushing a stray long ebony lock behind her ear as her dark chocolate gaze scanned the bar. Uncertainly, the doll like girl began to make her way towards the bar top, intending to sit close enough to one of the patrons that perhaps she might be able to steal their life force. That was, until a leg suddenly appeared directly in front of her path.

A glimpse of surprise crossed her porcelain features, her dark depthless gaze shifting from his leg to the man that it belong to. The first thing she noticed was that fellow was surprisingly handsome, his dark curly locks framing that chiseled jaw. His distinctly mischievous though none the less charming gaze meeting her own in such a way that a small hue of pink graced the girl's cheeks - at least, that was until her instincts slammed into her. A soft gasp left her parted lips as she stared at him, stepping back a single step with the simple knowledge of what he was. A Dark Hunter. The nefarious grin that crossed his features hardly went unnoticed by the young female, her breath caught within her throat and yet...it was that velveteen voice that caught her entirely off guard. "Join...you?" She inquired in a soft soprano tone, her voice still holding a hint of her Japanese heritage. Her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly, her gaze shifting towards the door and back at him - judging her ability to escape. It was well engrained within the vampire girl that hunters only meant death and nothing more. Their entire existence was to destroy hers. She had done well to avoid them in the past, sticking to her libraries and places they so rarely ventured. It was hardly difficult for the girl to judge that her chance of living was surprisingly slim, not when he was so very close.

A soft sigh of defeat left the girl's lips and slowly she nodded, making her best effort to give the suave fellow a small smile, weak though it was. With a dancer's grace, Chizue settled in the chair across from him. Her posture mirroring that of tense perfection. Her hands folded within her lip, her long, slender fingertips tracing the hem of her shirt in a gesture that was entirely a nervous habit. There was a fear that raced through her veins, coiled tightly with the hopelessness within the bottom of her stomach as she glanced at the man across from her, entirely unsure of what was going to come next.
