There was something about the look on Raven's face at the compliment that made Samantha pause, biting her lip in a bit of anxiousness at the dark look she was suddenly on the receiving end of. She'd hardly meant to hurt the woman or imply something wrong, and she was about to retract her sentence when the woman spoke, revealing the reason for the way she'd reacted to the compliment. Samantha's own smile turned to a frown, shaking her head. "No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it bad," She assured her, gently reaching out to turn the woman towards the full length mirror. "I just meant that it shows your curves nice. You look nice in this cut of jeans." She gave her a tiny smile through the mirror. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." Making Raven feel self-conscious was certainly not her goal, if anything it was the complete opposite. She wanted to boost up Raven, make her feel as pretty as she certainly was. Raven was beautiful, but it was very clear to Samantha that no one had ever taken the time to make her see that about herself.

Samantha made no move to stop the woman as she moved back inside the dressing room with the door shutting behind her. The faerie merely stepped back a little, leaning against the wall as she played with her hair. She knew that Raven would likely not appreciate the dress, though she was anything but willing to let her back out for that reason. She just had to be patient, to show the girl that she could wear the clothes that she thought were so pretty. "Are you okay in there?" The faerie girl asked after a moment, a smile lighting up her features as Raven opened the door to reveal the blue dress on her frame. Immediately, Samantha pushed herself off the wall and went to her. She was aware of Raven's protests, though the faerie gave them little weight as she gently took Raven by the shoulders and moved her in front of the three full length mirrors. "It looks prettier on you than it did on the mannequin, and certainly prettier on you than it would ever look on me."

The faerie girl stood behind Raven in the mirror, gently moving to fluff out the skirt for her. "You can try the other clothes on in a minute, I think you need to really look at yourself in this dress." She met her eyes through the mirror. "You're beautiful, Raven. I was right about the color. It brings out your eyes. And it's not too revealing, which I think is definitely something that you would like." She kept eyeing the girl, tilting her head. "But you could always wear tights with it, and you could get a sweater." She smiled once more. "But you're definitely getting this. It's so pretty." She left no room to argue as she stepped back, motioning towards the fitting room again.

"You can try on those other clothes if you still want to. Try them with the other pair of jeans I gave you? I think that cut will look good too. I'm going to go grab a few things for me to try on, if you don't mind? I'll need your opinion to tell me if you like it. Or..." A blush crept its way onto the girl's cheeks. "Or if Aiden would like it." She did, after all, want to find some clothes that would make her boyfriend think she was pretty. She smiled gently over at her before she moved back onto the sales floor, leaving the girl to try on the clothes that she had presented her with. By the time she returned a few minutes later with her own clothes, she'd fully expected that Raven had talked herself out of most of the clothes. "Raven, are you okay?" She asked, doing a small knock on Raven's dressing room door. "Do you like any of them?"
