South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

If the young woman knew exactly how to keep herself from falling down that dangerous road then she wouldn't be stuck in this situation right now. Feral mind could happen to any creature, be they prey or predator. Of course, when a predator's mind goes feral, well, we all know how dangerous that one can be. Indeed the woman, before she fell to her own demise, was having quite a fun time. Here in this new life she was learning just what it meant to have fun. The very first game she had ever learned to play was actually in Hyde Park, entertaining the spotted cat with a thrilling game of hide and seek, which ended in a hunt. She had been busying herself at work and she was in desperate need of a break. To spend time with her new found friend, one that could easily understand her, was a task she had looked forward to doing. Ever since she saw the scarlet fox being held in such a possessive state by the larger black cat had struck a chord within the wolf, thinking that perhaps Alexis would rather seek friendship with the cat. In effort for their friendship to grow, and to keep the cat whoever she was, away, she was willing to go out and do whatever her smaller friend wanted to do. To play, it was a simple request that she was more than willing to oblige. That she would fall to her alignment hadn't crossed her mind, but now with it rearing its ugly head, all she could do was try and keep herself from harming the innocent young vixen.

Managing to keep herself from leaping or swiping at the other was enough to exhaust the poor girl. To have self-resistant was not such an easy thing to accomplish. Biting her own legs, giving herself the pleasure of sinking her teeth into something, even though that was her, had accomplished whatever side of her that wanted to attack. Each time she bit her own leg, pain would course through her body as survival instincts kicked in. To keep herself alive she would have to stop attacking herself, and so thanks to this key flaw in her feral mind, she would eventually collapse over her bloody paws and force her body to lay down in the tall grass. With pain wracked in her brain, knowing she might have pushed the fox-girl away from her and losing a friend only harmed the girl mentally. Whatever shred of trust she was attempting to create for Alexis she felt she had ruined any chance of befriending the girl. Hearing the other girl whimper with worry caused the she-wolf to pant from exhaustion, sorrow crushing her. Listening to the fox's inquiry made the girl close her eyes, if only for a moment, checking to see if she was indeed okay and that other side of her wouldn't be jumping out to finish what it started. Taking a sharp breath that familiar twinge of pain could be felt as her fur was replaced with bare skin, not a shred of clothing was on her. It would seem her mind-state was a bit troubled to keep her mutilated body clothed.

Slowly the young woman would lift herself up and simply sit within the thick tall grasses. Bowing her head she would rest it on her hands, sitting crisscrossed, allowing the sun a rare chance to grace its light on her maimed pale flesh. Her arms were healing quite easily, but there were faint scars that trailed up and down both forearms, the lines jagged and old, clearly a sign that those particular scars were not caused by her. Golden brown curls covererd her face and shoulder, trailing down, but stopping before the middle of her back. There, along her back with rows of ragged different scars, faint wounds that had sliced her up, more similar scars were raked along her ribs and sides. A werewolf was supposed to be able to heal from small wounds, but whatever caused these on the poor girl made her incapable to heal- and that was the point. Lifting her head some, blue-grey eyes locked onto the cautious fox as she meekly explained herself.

"Feral mind...it's when the most basic, primal side of you comes out...it's more than just feral rage, whatever trace of humanity is inside you it is long gone. You can't separate friend from foe, sometimes you can't even remember what took place. Your state of mind shuts down into fight, flight, or mate mode and you just...lose it."

Shrugging her shoulders entirely helpless of even attempting such a ridiculous thing as to explain and blame her actions on her own weakness. The well-endowed woman was such an uptight person, ever so modest and attentive to the emotions and actions of others, but as of right now she hardly cared what sort of state she was in right now. The only thing buzzing in her head right now was the worry that Alexis would leave. She had grown to trust the woman, far easier than she had with another. It is amazing when one shares an unspeakable past, it made everything else not matter as much or worry how the other would think. With a heavy sigh her tense shoulders would slacken only slight from the forced exhale of breath as her strained gentle tone flowed out.

"It comes and goes, it just happens. Which is why...you need to be more careful around me...if you want to stick around, if not I understand."
