South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

It was hardly impossible, the young witch supposed, that the canine that sat in front of her was not a canine at all. After all, weres ran rampant through the city and magic was certainly as prevalent as ever. Perhaps the creature was some kind of shape shifter who'd only gotten stuck temporarily in this form? Though, then again, Serafina had never seen nor heard of any species being able to change at will like the weres so effortlessly did. No, it was more likely, she supposed, that this was the work of one of her kind. Maybe it was a potion or spell, maybe it was some kind of curse, either way, this fell within her domain and the canine, it seemed, was entirely aware of this simple fact. Still, her lips pressed together as she reached down to pick up the rabbit at her feet, placing its carcass within her bag with the full intention of skinning it tonight. She stood up, one hand resting upon her hip as her hourglass figure shifted ever so slightly to the side. Her piercing grey eyes stared ever so intently at the canine as she so studied the creature, attempting to feel it with the affinities she so possessed.

The dog, for all her gaiety, seemed entirely pleased that, for some reason, Serafina was willing to entertain the notion that the greyhound was more than just a nuisance, her bark clearly resonating within the forest. Still, the young witch found her lips pressing together ever so slightly as the dog shook its head at the possibility of being those very afflicted creatures that so shed their skin every at the gentlest of touches of moonlight. Well, if it wasn't a were, it would have to be the latter. Her manicured fingertip gingerly tapped on her lips in thought, her gaze tracing the forest around her as she so considered the books within her basement at her home. Could she undo this? Hm....yes. There might be some resemblance of hope yet. I mean really, what was the worst she could do? "All right critter, go get us a second rabbit and then I'll take you home and see about your condition. I can't very well feed both of us on one carcass can I?" She inquired, briefly gesturing off into the forest surrounding them. She waited long enough till the canine tore off, the witch momentarily returning to her collection of herbs though, this time, it was with a far more intent purpose.

It was only once Serafina had two rabbits in her bag that she left the southern forests behind her, knowing all too well that the greyhound would follow her. She hardly bothered to speak to it on the walk home, knowing well that the creature could hardly respond. After all, she looked crazy enough in public talking to those corporeal beings she saw, she certainly didn't want to add 'animal whisperer' to her list of names to be teased about. Nevertheless, soon enough she led the pair towards her townhome, pausing in front of the door to glance quite pointedly towards the dog at her side. "Wipe your feet on the mat. I don't want muddy paw prints in my house. And....just..ignore anything....ghostly okay? Damn things won't leave me alone." The end of her sentence was little more than a grumble as she opened the front door, stepping into the rooms beyond as she flickered on the lights. Her bag was placed upon the table with little care, the girl instead fishing for a particular book amongst the shelves in her living room. "Let's see....true love...tongue tying...ah, here, transformations." She turned, all too pleased before the young woman approached her kitchen table once again, her affinities so flaring to life as objects around the home slowly began to find their way onto the kitchen table in front of her whilst she busied herself with reading the particulars to this rather specific spell.
