South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Nadya Tetradore

It was relieving in a way that Tobias obliged in her request for something small in order to start teaching the twins to hunt. Her golden gaze watched him slink off, not doubting him in the slightest to bring back what she asked for as he was the best tracker in the pack. She moved over to her brother in that space of time now to brush against him. Nadya would never cease to voice her thanks to her brother for everything he did in regards to the twins. She knew it was something still difficult for him to acknowledge, to not look at them and see the mistake that Tobias and her had made. It would forever be something she would be aware of too but she couldn't see them and not be filled with love for them either and would protect them with her very life. Her brother was trying, changing, filling his role of Alpha and Nadya could not ignore that.

Her loving attention was cut short by her need to constantly corral Izzy whom was buy far the wilder one reminding Nadya of Tobias not just in personality but her coloration. She was a spitting image, a mini-me, of the man-child, and Nadya could only hope that it wouldn't mean she would be just as unruly as she grew. The unnatural cold front had Nadya on edge immediately, gathering her daughter and questioning her brother as she moved to his side. It was a flash of imagery that pressed into her mind from Tobias that the panther was allowed to see the tiger making its way towards their clearing. A rumble of questioning discord sounded from her, muffled from the fact of Izzy still scruffed in her mouth. Nadya noted the way in which her brother's large paw shuffled Micah away from the grass he was nibbling on to be closer even as he dismissed her concerns about the approaching feline. Yes they had numbers on their side but what of any powers beyond this cold it apparently possessed? The trio together were a force to reckon with though Nadya would be relatively distracted with the kittens being there.

The moment Aidan moved aside to place his larger frame between herself and the incoming tiger, Nadya dropped Izzy and gathered the pair tightly against her stomach between her legs as she sat there in the tense waiting game. Luckily the twins remained still, perhaps sensing the tenseness in their mother and the unsurity in the air. It took every ounce of control Nadya had not to lash out a power towards the tiger at her sudden appearance and show of teeth. The last tiger Nadya had thought to trust had tried to kill her kittens after all. Nadya gaze glanced between her brother and the tigress at the familiarity in the stranger's eyes at the sight of him. "Do you know her?" Nadya questioned her brother.

Sanity perhaps sunk into the stranger as the panther watched her large stripped frame lower to the ground to appear unthreatening and the chuff that escaped her vocals which trailed wisps of frost in its wake of her breath. Nadya may have begun to relax her muscles had the tiger not been such a contradiction. One moment appearing fine and the next questioning the reality of their existence then jerking about as if she had been spooked by something. The erratic behavior made Nadya shift, effectively pulling the cubs tighter against her, the tiger's words of reassurance doing little to pacify the wary young mother. "You could stop making it so cold then; they don't have their winter coat yet." Nadya eyed the frost that was inching its way across the ground with the tiger as the obvious source. For a moment her attention slid away from the tiger to the perimeter, seeking out the other familiar spotted form of Tobias whom at least in this form she was assured would return to Aidan's side as an added barrier between herself with the cubs and the tiger.
