South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

As that train slid into York, the English girl found herself feeling a strange mixture of both euphoria and anxiety. On one hand, coming back into York was coming home. She'd grown up on these streets. Visiting these tiny shops and running along those English hills. There existed - and likely would always exist - a warmth within the pit of her stomach when she thought of home. She was excited to see it, and even more excited to show Kato all the beautiful things that her country had to offer. But... on the other hand... York meant her family. And her pack. There existed that anxiety that she would see them again. When she'd left them, Edie had sincerely expected that she would never see them again. And she had been fine with that. Mostly. Sitting in the very train station that they now pulled into, she could only remember the crying, bruised girl she'd been. Coming back, in a way, meant that she was failing that girl who had so desperately wanted to escape. Or at least... Edie was sure it was.

As she pulled herself to her feet, she spoke so playfully regarding the city that they were within. She was more than happy with the smirk that played on his lips, even more so was she amused by the words that left his lips. "You'll have to buy this beautiful city a card." She teased, leaning briefly into his side as he touched her before she so abruptly tugged him from the train and out of that station. A happy, pleasant smile spread across her features as she led him down that street. "Isn't it beautiful?" She asked, looping her hand through his arm to pull herself into his side. She continued walking with him as she held to him, so happy to be with her boyfriend in this city. "It rains a little less here. I mean, it still rains, but..." She trailed off, watching as he pulled her into the shop that he'd indicated. She let go of him reluctantly, looking around the plethora of clothing that it offered. Yeah, this would do.

It was only when he suggested he would wait did Edie turn, a frown on her features. "Oh no you don't." She commented, grabbing ahold of his arm as he set the duffle bag down. She grabbed ahold of the strap, handing it back to him before she pulled him into those racks. "If you want to sit down there, I'll be sure to pick out the scratchiest sweaters you can imagine, darling." She grinned over at him before she continued to browse through the racks of clothing. She glanced up at him every once in awhile as she piled clothes into her arms. "I think you look so sexy in green," She commented as she picked up a dark green sweater, rubbing the soft fabric to her cheek. It was only when she had a suitable wardrobe of sweaters, jackets, and jeans for the man did she lead him to the checkout, easily handing over her credit card to the sales assistant.

"There," Edie said happily as she led them out of the shop and into that street once more. She held the bags within her arms, swinging them as she walked. Shopping had a way of making her calmer, and that had certainly done the trick. She continued to walk down the street, leading them right towards the hotel that she'd admired as a girl. The Grand Hotel was for the rich, the elite, the kind of girl that Edie had always hoped to be. And after the events of Vegas, Edie herself fit into that category. She had yet to explain to her boyfriend exactly what had happened in that city - what she would tell him of it, at least - nor how she had come across the sudden wealth she now possessed. Now was certainly not the time for that. Instead, she was content to ignore her companion as she requested the penthouse suite and handed over her credit card.

Once they were within that room and the door shut - and locked - firmly behind them, a grin spread across her features. She dropped the bags in her own arms before she reached over, grabbing the strap of that duffle to deposit it on the floor alongside it. She stepped in, then, her hands moving to tug the sweater over his head before it, too, was deposited on the floor. It was only once he was shirtless did Edie step back, pulling her own top off until she was standing wearing only her bra and jeans, looking up at her boyfriend. "Fifteen hours on a plane is a long, long time, babe." She grinned before she stepped in, pressing her lips to his in an almost feverish fashion.
