South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

In a way it would seem Fate was right to select Raven to be a werewolf rather than a prey were-creature. Like the wolf, Raven was a vessel of numerous flaws. As an animal she would fall victim to her fight and flight instincts. It was reasonable for her to want to run or eliminate the threat. Raven was not a mindless killing machine. Even though she had every right to kill the Dark Hunter that had tortured herself, and Frost, she couldn't lead herself to do this, even in her feral form. Her feral mind didn't want to waste any time to kill the threatening male, and seeing the chance to escape, she took it without hesitation. Whatever Frost had to say she did not listen or care. Her instincts were kicking in, her blood boiling, her pain from her leg where Frost had stabbed her was numb momentarily, as she tore through the dark corridor. The bright flickering red lights hurt her eyes, her grey-trimmed ears flattened against her ebony skull, the piercing shrieks of the alarm was painful. As soon as her grey-paws hit the green grass, and she breathed in her first fresh breath of freedom, her speed kicked up a notch, but was stopped suddenly by the feeling of something so sharp sinking into her other leg. The gigantic lupine could feel herself be stopped and dragged backwards, confused she turned around and suddenly all those nightmarish memories relit the immense fear she felt for one particular individual.

Even in her feral form she could not escape the fear that her Father had beaten into her, time and time again. Her feral side could not comprehend seeing the familiar ghastly figure that had his massive teeth within her leg. Immediately she cowered, terrified and confused, she couldn't explain why he was alive and how it was possible after all these years. Frost was all but forgotten as she yanked her leg out from his jaw, releasing a pitiful cry as she turned around. Both her legs hurt now, the lupine finding the weight of Frost not as easy as before. As her Father snarled and came closer to her, she limped backwards, still whimpering. What could she do? She thought he was dead and gone, but he was back...how can one destroy their own nightmare? As Frost attempted to get her back on track to escape, she froze, unsure what she could do now. She may be in her larger form, but her Father was much large attempted to get her back on track to escape, she froze, unsure what she could do now. She may be in her larger form, but her Father was much larger...he was the original big bad wolf...how could she not be afraid of him. The feeling of Frost twisting her ear caused her to cry out and as his legs dug into her she took a few tentative steps back, but her Father would follow. As he lunged towards her she attempted to run away, limping towards the forest when she suddenly felt something sharp land behind her shoulder causing her to slide down on the ground.

Blue-grey eyes saw the Dark Hunter emerging slowly from within his underground tortured chamber. In one hand he was holding a large crossbow ready to aim for her when she suddenly felt Frost tugging on her ears to get her to run, causing the lupine to continue on her escape. She could hear the Hunter call her Father off, along with his sworn vengeance upon herself and Frost. Blindly she ran through the southern forest, making her way to the familiar sanctuary of the West side. Her gait wasn't smooth at all, the girl barely holding herself up correctly with both back legs injured and an arrow poking out from behind her shoulder. As soon as she made it to the West she headed for the Ark, but she would stop in an abandoned warehouse outside her Alpha's territory. Unceremoniously she dumped Frost off her back within a random room, blue-grey eyes heard the sound of something metallic hit the ground. The raven medallion had fallen from his pockets, eagerly she went over and placed a paw over it, dragging it over to herself. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as she released a low threatening snarl her teeth barred at the wounded Were. There was nothing but immense hatred within those eyes, Raven had every right to feel those turbulent emotions, now that she was allowed to actually process them. Raven had every right to hate Frost, entirely, and now that he was wounded and incapable of retaliating, she knew she could eliminate him here and now. He was prey and she was predator. He nearly killed her and now she could give him a final blow. However, Raven was a flawed creature. She was incapable of killing him, not like this...it wasn't fair...it wasn't right. Raven was not a heartless murderer. She was still the meek woman that wanted so very few things in her life. Through all the pain she had endured throughout her life, somehow, Raven was still capable of holding onto her morals, even when she had every right to ignore them. Still snarling her dial lowered so that her eyes could meet his, her voice was dark and menacing.

"I should kill you, I have every right to kill you. You nearly killed me, and you are a thorn in our pack's side. If I kill you then everything would be fine. I got you out of there, I got you somewhere safe...you owe me Frost, you're in my debt and I'll tell you when your debt has been paid."

In her own way she was such a clever creature. What could possibly pierce through Frost's ego than declaring the fact that he owed her. Of course she didn't mean to save him. It was her feral side that was unaware he had managed to crawl on her back. However, he was here barely alive. She did not know what would happen to him, and if he would remain alive, but she wouldn't give him any more help. Lowering her dial she picked up the medallion releasing a soft whine as she turned around limping her way towards home, unsure how she would explain her absence, let alone, how she would explain to her Alpha the threat of this Dark Hunter and her Father. The very last thing she wanted to do was threaten the lives of the pack and piss off the only Alpha she ever trusted.
