South
The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park
Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
The Outskirts
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Just another Night to Kill

The simper on Dorian's lips is alluring as ever and he doesn't seem turned off at all by the idea of duct tape. It's almost arousing in itself. I laugh when he mentions using rope, my brow rising teasingly. "Rope is good. The thicker, the better." I give him a playful wink. I could go on like this all day, always up for jokes and talking to anyone with a good sense of humor, even if it is just dirty jokes. I can tell I have his attention when I mention dating sites but there's a look in his eyes I'm starting to understand all too well though, the look of puzzlement when he doesn't fully understand what I'm talking about. His eyes light up again when brothers are mentioned, however. I swing my arm in an "aw shucks" gesture at his mention that his brothers are all dead, grinning when he says that he was the prettiest. "I guess you'll have to show me pictures sometime. I want proof." I chuckle. When he brings up the middle ages, I smile and glance forward, my gaze distant for a minute as I think back to those times. Lords and ladies, balls and gowns, kings and queens, knights and templars. Fun times. Trying? Yeah, I guess, they could be. I shrug when I glance back at him. "I don't know; I had fun. I got to play with horses and spears all day, though, so I guess it's your perspective. I did see a case of gout once, though. One of the stable guards came down with it. They said it was because he drank too much. Henry definitely was a lush when it came to his mead." I smirk just thinking about it and shake my head. When I ask if he would recognize a hunter if I showed him a picture, he nods. I raise a brow when he tells me that the council is upset because he killed a hunter. They should ahve known better than to send novice hunters after a fairy, especially one as important and obviously experienced as Dorian is. I shake my head at their ignorance. And they think they're the higher species. "I will see what I can find out." I stop when he does, following his gaze to the ferris wheel. My brow rises knowingly as I smirk at him. My head tilts when he says that he doesn't know what it is but I grin when he says that he likes my company and hopes I join the heirarchy. I nudge my head toward the ferris wheel. "I might be more inclined to join if you can find it in your busy schedule to ride the ferris wheel with me some time. That's what the machine is called, by the way." |
