South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It's Unmistakable

You know this bridle thing feels really weird. I mean, I do appreciate Alexander making it to where it does not rub or irritate my muzzle and face. That was very kind of him. Gently I nudged my large nose into his stomach in thanks, my eyes closing for a moment as he pats it. Oh yes, the petting, I know Frost would think this is demeaning, but I do need enjoy the petting. It's like getting attention, and I do like the attention! I feel the slender hand of the woman being placed along my neck. As the reins in Alex's hands transfer to the woman, I stay still for a moment not quite sure what to do. I feel the woman's legs tighten around me, and I know that is the queue for me to go, but where. Oh yes, thank you. I feel the leather straps pull to the side, to the right, and obediently I go in that direction taking a simple and easy stroll. As I walk slowly I feel her tug on the reigns and tighten her legs again and I assume she just wants me to go faster, so I try.

Naturally I follow the ring and go around in circle, not quite sure what else I am to do. So, I continue going as I do, taking it easy. I hope I look right. I mean I don't see him correcting me, in fact, he is just staring at me. I know it would be creepy, in a different setting, so I try to focus on putting one hoof in front of the other. I do like how she weighs less than Alex, much easier to carry her I think, much easier indeed. I feel the woman move forward, and for a moment I think she is falling off, but when I feel her warm breath tickle my audits, I twitch my ears slightly, so that I could hear her better. As we round the corner I do see the pasture that she is speaking about, I know the feel of grass would be more ideal than the stuff I am stepping in now. I should very much like to be on the grass, but I am unsure about jumping the fence. I mean, I've never done that before, and now to do it with a woman on my back...I am afraid I might hurt her. Yet she seems so confident in me, maybe I should be a little bit confident in myself.

I we round around the ring once more, I attempt to increase my speed, to build up at least. I am not quite sure if this would make Alex happy, but Anastasia is the one riding on my back and I have to follow what she says. Besides, we're supposed to be bonding. Maybe upsetting Alex is just one of those things we have to do. I am not sure if I can fly over the fence, but I will do my best to jump over it. So, after building up speed, and getting closer to the section of the fence that was near the pasture, I say a silent prayer and attempt to jump. I do not know if I truly flew or not, but somehow I managed to land on the other side of the ring. As I land on all four hooves I run forward towards the pasture, dashing through the corridor until I can smell the fresh air. With a neigh I slow down as my hooves meet the green grass, stopping to a halt as I turn my dial around to ensure that she was indeed here and safe on my back. Last thing I needed was her off my back, or falling over, and luckily she was still there. Softly I snort at her and nicker softly, turning my dial to see the King himself, hoping that maybe he isn't too cross with us.
