South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Just another Night to Kill

I've read the books on all the creatures and how to kill them. It's a good habit for someone who plans to do just that to all the evil in the world. I've killed everything, even my own kind, though I never get jobs like that from the Council so usually it's on my own. I've even killed hunters, usually ones who have gone rogue from the Council or hunters that don't belong to the Council and just get out of control with the whole killing thing. From what's I've heard, the Ripper was one of those hunters.

The more I watch this guy think, the more I wonder how how much experience he's got in the whole dating department. I guess being on the run from the Council and all kind of keeps you busy and doesn't leave a lot of room for dating and getting to know someone but he really seems hooked on this girl that he's rambling about so it must be something. Still he seems puzzled over the whole thing himself like he's not sure why he's talking about her in the first place. It's very amusing.

At his question about guns vs. swords and knives, I merely shrug. "I guess it depends on my mood, and the creature, of course. When I just want someone to stop following me, I'd rather just take them out quickly so a gun serves that purpose. If I want it to be more personal, I'll use a knife. If I want some fencing practice, sword." My lips crinkle in a playful smirk, one brow rising.

I hate the way he emphasizes my name like there's something wrong with it. My brows furrow for a moment. I snort before chuckling. "A lesser hunter would either know better than to attack me or would by the time I'm done with him. I've had my fair share of run-ins with your kind and I have the weapons to suit the occasion. Don't worry about my luck. I tend to have a little bit when it counts." I shrug. I wouldn't have lived as long as I have without more than my fair share of luck. I'm aware of that.

Apparently I hit a nerve when I call him famous though, the sudden flicker in his facial muscles enough to tell me he doesn't like that I know who he is. As a hunter myself, I've studied his picture in hunting journals for years so of course I would recognize him. I would consider myself a poor hunter indeed if I didn't. It doesn't look like he wants that though. Someone in hiding or still on the run, I suspect? He tells me that he's not famous and he doesn't want it and I put up my hands in a mock surrender. "Hey, I didn't make the stories that create the legend that is you but they're out there. Plenty of them. Afraid you can't really take that back. Well, unless you know someone with a time machine." I grin, hoping to lighten the mood with jokes like I usually do.

I raise a brow when he suddenly tells me not to tell anyone and I shake my head. "Don't worry, I'm not looking to start a hunting party or anything. No one would probably believe me anyway." I sigh, sure that he's going to want more reassurance than that. "I won't tell anyone." I say with finality so he knows that I'm being sincere. As he tries to explain, I nod. "You don't have to explain to me. I get it. Everyone has trouble with control when they get turned. I've seen it happen plenty of times."
