South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Cars were definitely not her speciality. Where she had lived, such items of grace a luxury were all but a rarity. The village was just that -a village. Their tourism consisted of rugged outdoor hikes and scenic views and yet, it was that glimpse of beauty in that sleek vehicle that could certainly not be denied as her small paw pointed at this car in particular. It was prrreeeettttyyy. See! She was attracted to shiny things! They just had to be better than a damn quarter....yes, she's looking at you, ARLO. In fact, she glanced up at her companion right on cue but this time, those small hazel eyes were instead searching for a glimpse of approval. Had she done her job well? Did she pick out a good one? Would this put some distance between them and the scary men outside? Or were they both still going to die an untimely death worse than being squished on the cement by your friendly neighborhood gravity? She watched him study the car, momentarily studying him with the same intensity as he gave that car. Weeeelllll??? She hardly expected the way he reached up suddenly, unzipping his jacket to send the girl tumbling into his hand. A little warning here would be nice you know!

Her feet flailed for a singular moment before she was placed on top of the roof. Slowly, her waddling feet followed him around the vehicle. The girl leaned precariously forward as he moved around towards the hood, picking it up to eye what was underneath. Her head tilted to the side as Arlo glanced over the hood of the vehicle, presenting her with a rather pleased grin. A pleased look crossed her own features as a singular bark left her parted mouth. Abigail settled on the hood of that car, her small eyes simply shifted around the expanse of the garage. That's right! She was playing guard dog. After all, someone had to make sure they didn't get crept up on by those sneaky scoundrel bad guys! It was the roar of that car several moment's later that caused her attention to quickly shift back to the man, the girl standing upon her four legs to bounce in place ever so slightly. It's allllliveeeeeee! She half leapt into her companion's grasp, clearly quite excited with this new turn of events and, indeed, all too easily bounded into the passenger seat. The front of her paws were immediately placed upon the window sill, her ears perking up over the edge to get a glimpse of the world outside.

Her head turned back towards him at the sound of his voice, her gaze simply watching as he started pressing buttons upon the dashboard. On one hand, she could hardly blame him in the least. After all they GLOWED like her! She had weakness for glowing things. She wanted to press some too. Her paws pushed off of the passenger door, the girl turning only for a thud and a tumble of papers to send her rolling into the back of the passenger chair with a surprised squeak on her lips. WHAT WAS THAT?! WHAT DID YOU DO?! Her small eyes had grown at least double in size from the fright, her heart pounding in her chest and yet, she simply stared at that paperwork as if it was the devil itself. It was only when Arlo reached over to glance at the contents that she found herself steadying, slowly crawling towards the center console as if, somehow, he'd protect her from the barrage of rogue papers. Evil papers.

She hardly waited as he swept off the papers before climbing over the center console and into his lip, her head popping up over the edge of the window sill to glance out his window, all the while remaining mindful of being sure she didn't get into the way of his driving. It was the beeping that attracted Abigail's attention and yet, even she was not wholly oblivious to what that loud resounding thud meant. Her ears rose upwards with a glimpse of alarm before the following thump of the car moving over the man told her well enough what had just happened. She glanced upwards at him before barking a series of chirps and huffs and other peculiar sounds, altogether displease at his driving. After all, HE HAD JUST HIT SOMEONE AND DROVE OVER THEM AND WHAT IF HE KILLED THEM?!?! SHE COULD GO TO ANIMAL JAIL FOR BEING AN ACCOMPLICE OR...or....wait - he was already dead? STILL. That didn't make it right!

Abigail offered him one last huff before climbing back over the center console and into her own seat. Still, any anger she had dissipated but moments later. Abigail wasn't one to hold onto such negative emotions for long. She was a carefree bird, the kind whom rather forgot when she was supposed to be mad. Instead, her large fluffy tail flicked ever so slightly with the sound of the music, the girl herself ever intent to look out the window till she grew tired of the gesture. Arlo's voice was quick to reign in her attention from whatever idle daydreams filled her mind, in the same way he always seemed to and quickly enough Abigail provided him with her rapt attention. In fact, the girl was quite content to be his own little audience - get it? Cause....you know...his band? She was amused anyways. Her head tilted to the side ever so slightly as he commented on the life he'd lost - the mention of the word vampire captured all of her attention, however. Huh. Well that made a lot of sense. You know, with the teeth thing. And that blood thing. And that body thing. And the nippy nip thing. Lots of things made sense now. Fancy that. She'd met her first vampire! Woo hoo!

Unfortunately, she hardly got the opportunity to fully relish in the joy of this, much less attempt to reassure him before the vehicle began to slow, once again capturing her inquisitive nature. She was scooped up but a moment later, her gaze curiously shifted around the newfound area the pair were in and yet, a sickening sort of knowledge settled in her stomach. Oh. This was goodbye. That...sucked. She hated good byes. They were all sad and you never knew if you'd meet again and...she kinda liked him. A soft, sad chirp left her mouth as he slowly approached a tree and, for a moment, Abigail hardly noticed it was even a fruit tree she'd been hunting for all night. Those poor little heart strings! All tugged! Oh gawd. A purr like sound left her mouth as the man's hand rubbed between her ears, the girl entirely content to nuzzle into his fingertips, providing him with one single lick of her tongue in the way of an animal like kiss before she simply sat there and watched as he left her, once again on her own. Suddenly, her appetite had somehow disappeared.
