South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Samantha Cassidy

There was something entirely comforting about having both of her boys around. Her tiny monarchy was not much. And yet, Samantha had never felt more safe. Even with the threat of Frost looming in the back of her mind, she knew that between Dorian and Troy there would be no harm to come to her. It was such a little thing in all of this. To feel safe. There would be nothing in the world that could take away the grief that ate at her stomach every time she thought about her lover, but that safety at least had her able to lift herself out of bed. Their tiny monarchy was beginning to feel like a real home. And Samantha couldn't be more thankful.

Today, however, Samantha had no intentions of leaving her bed. The grief seemed to have overwhelmed the redhead. She couldn't deny that grief any longer. It felt like a weight to press down on her shoulders and keep her in bed. She couldn't get herself up if she wanted to. No, all she could do was lay under the covers and curl into herself. She didn't cry. No, there seemed to be no tears left within the tiny faerie. All she could do was lay in bed and stare at the wall and think about the fact that she didn't have the man who loved her any longer. She would never feel his arms around her again. Never feel the way that he wrapped her up in his arms again or the way he kissed that spot on her shoulder sometimes when they were together.

Those thoughts seemed to be broken up by the sharp rapping at her door. The girl let out a soft groan as she tugged the covers up over her head. "Go away..." She muttered weakly, though she sighed at the sound of Troy's voice. They meant well. They really did. And yet Samantha simply did not have the energy for them today. She couldn't help the annoyance that rippled through her at his continued presence, and yet she didn't tell him to go away. No, she even stirred ever so slightly at the mention of ice cream. Though she truly wasn't sure if she could get out of bed. It wasn't until she heard that shuffling that so indicated something being pressed under her door did curiosity get the better of her.

The faerie girl pressed herself out of bed, getting to her feet on shaky legs as she wandered over to the door. She reached down and picked up the note, opening it up to reveal that stick figure drawing that he'd done. For the first time in awhile - she had lost track of the days - the faerie girl laughed. "Okay," She whispered to no one in particular. She lovingly reached out and put the note on top of her dresser before she disappeared into her closet. A day out wouldn't hurt her. And with Troy at her side, she had no reason to be afraid. It was less than ten minutes before the redhead made her way down the stairs. She didn't look quite like herself, though this was the closest she'd gotten since Aiden's death. Dressed in jeans, boots, and a purple sweater that somehow made her hair look even brighter, she smiled almost timidly at the faerie sitting on her couch.

"You... said something about ice cream?" Her voice was unsteady, as though it hadn't been used in awhile. And yet she still smiled ever so slightly at the man. There was something about him that made her smile, and a day in the park with him really couldn't be that bad.
