South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Regardless of that bobbing and weaving his body was beset to with that telepathic control, those shadows so effortlessly rushed to his ebony figure as if they quite nearly belonged to him and in way, he supposed, they did. That darkness so caressed at his fur, those slinking shadows so enveloping him but moments later before the feline simply disappeared, ceasing to exist altogether in that space for but a brief moment in time. His intentions, after all, were entirely steadfast in his goals, reappearing but seconds later upon the back of the very woman who had so ignorantly thought she was capable of besting him. Silly wolf. He landed ever so slightly upon the girl's bad, sitting with particular ease, all the while entirely aware that the weight of the several hundred pound jungle cat was far more than the lupine truly expected. That disgruntled sound beneath him was hardly astonishing in the least to the panther and yet, he hardly moved in the slightest, instead waiting as Raven's leg's inevitably gave way beneath him. He could hardly help the smug look that graced his features within that moment, the man wasting no time in demanding that he was declared the winner of this little game they do played. What he didn't expect, however, was the despondent tone to the young woman's voice as it pressed into his head.

He supposed it was inevitable that they returned to the Ark, their little play date was certainly winding down to its end. Truly it was rare when either of their souls were given even the slightest of glimpses of any true jovety and yet, it could hardly last forever, her supposed. Still, his thoughts had turned far more pensive in the nature, the feline momentarily forgot the figure her was settled on top of, remembering only as she lifted him in the air ever so slightly, the man immediately shifting to his feet. "Oh, sorry." He muttered as she slunk out from underneath his oppressive weight. He waited patiently as she regained her footing before his own feet were placed with delicate care back on the floor of the forest beneath them. He watched her turn, bounding back into those long blades with relative ease and yet, there was a loudness to her steroids that suggested this was not a part of their play, no, he would have had far too easy of a time finding her ebony form peaking out over the top of that flora. What he hadn't realized, however, was there small creature the girl was so hunting until she hopped out of the grass with the creature at her feet. This poor fellow seemed less then pleased that his escape attempted had been twarted and yet, Tetradore hardly made a move to drop her and that joy that she had found. Rather, he caught the armadillo with a soft thud of his large ebony paw, the man's emerald eyes merely shifting upwards to her as her voice once again echoed in his head.

He watched as her body lowered to the ground, clearly trying yet again to initiate that play response within him and, without any lingering hesitation, Tetradore allowed his paw to tap at the balled up critter just enough to send it flying back in her direction. Despite the man's willingness to so return the gesture, his own body was hardly laced with the same ease it had been moments before. Rather, there was a soft sadness to his tone as his voice reached out to her, "We'll play again, little bird, I promise." He was painfully aware with in that moment of how much he neglected her and her needs from him. Between Tobias, his unruly sister and his blossoming relationship with Samantha, he hadn't stopped to consider that she might have wants of him too beyond his mere approval of his best friend's affection for her. He would make every effort to see through on that promise to her. If she wanted moments like this with him, was it not his very duty to see it done as her Alpha? As her brother-in-law? His head tilted to the side as he watched her, the feline suddenly stepping forward to brush his maw against her sides in a rare but decidedly feline glimpse of affection. He might not have shown it often but there was no denying her cared for her as much as he did the rest of his dysfunctional little pack.
