The child vampire held very little interest in spending her energy on arguing with Arlo on her rights to the caught woman. The victim was hers, she was very sure of that as she had been to one to single her out and chase her down. If Arlo hadn't been in the way with his spiderweb then Anna would have had the toying fun she normally had with her victims. Anna's age though kept her attention on the stranger as she circled about the hanging woman- if only enough to ensure he remained rooted to his spot. She was fractured but not entirely stupid. Although it wasn't Arlo's true intention which Anna was guarding herself for. No, she figured like any other vampire he would fight her physically for the prize of a fresh meal so was anticipating any movement which would suggest that.

Anna was amicable enough to indulge Arlo's questions with her answers. She had never held company for very long before they too were lost to the sands of time. The one thing about being vampire you learn early on is to have anyone you held dearly disappear. At least right now she had two beings that she considered hers for entirely two different reasons. "They are mine." Anna stated simply at Arlo's confused question. There was no other way that the small vampire could explain the attachment to Crishlyn and Sebastian. One doted upon her as a mother and let her do as she pleased while the other was a connection of blood along with an endless confusion and frustration at wanting him to play with her. Still, they both had been cast under her sense of protection that should anyone else attempt to gain their attention she would be that opponent's demise.

"They are mine and you can't have them." Anna grew sharp in her tone as her patience wore out. She was far too hungry. Her movement was smooth and quick as she closed the distance to the hanging unconscious woman and sunk her small fangs into the smooth flesh. The blood which exploded into her mouth warmed her body with its stolen life. Anna was greedy when it came to feeding so held no intention of leaving anything for the stranger. Her feeding was hardly hurried though it wasn't lax as it would have been had he not been there. Anna usually savored her meals, allowing that spice that adrenaline gave to the blood to course through her.

It was giving into feeding that caused her attention to leave Arlo. Surely he would have battled her for the prize of the meal already if he had truly wanted it. She hadn't expected him to approach her afterwards and never in her many many years would have have thought he would do that. Anna was aware of him near her, his hands gripping her and was prepared to cease her feeding to meet him head-on. Where a strong grip and yank away from the victim would have been normal, instead she was met with the sharp pang of fangs burying into her neck. The sedation of their species' venom worked quickly into her system causing the child's head to fog and her muscles to loosen. Perhaps for the many vampires which Arlo had encountered he had gotten away with such an act but it was Anna's age alone which allowed her to fight back in this moment. One hand's fingers twitched as she called upon her ability, forcing herself to fight against the haze of the sedation before she became too lost within it, and snatched upon Arlo's essence to gain control over his body.

The same lack of care to being gentle that he showed her was returned tenfold. Anna's seized up Arlo's body and with a flick of her wrist had her ability yank him back with massive force towards the nearest tree trunk in hopes of smashing him against it. Either way it would release her from his bite and thus immediately stop the continued release of the sedation into her system. It left her still slightly dazed and confused as to what just happened but she was more pissed than anything else. Hardened crystal blue eyes leveled at Arlo with bared her fangs at him with a wicked hiss. She had removed her ability from his body giving him control of himself once more but hopefully he had learned his lesson and knew what she was capable of.

Anger still flooded her system as the shadows on the earth behind her gathered and churned like a boiling cauldron attempting to take on form. It wasn't something she was entirely aware of doing as she spat angrily at him. "Stupid useless vampire! You don't bite me!" What vampire fed off others?! Her small hands were clenched into fists at her sides as her feet were planted in preparedness appearing as if she was ready to launch at him at any moment.
