South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Sterling could hardly deny the existence of those butterflies that settled in his stomach as they stood in front of the apartment, already anticipating what he could only imagine what the inside looked of. His memories of the place were particularly warm, the afternoons they'd spent nestled on the couch together watching movies, the mornings they'd spent the the kitchen table surrounded by those potted plants with a delectable breakfast in front of them, the evenings they'd nestled within those luxurious sheets. He vaguely remembered the night he'd left this place for the last time, with Henry nestled on the window sill with tears in his eyes and Kat's perfume on Sterling's clothing. His lips pressed into a small frown with the assault of memories and feelings that plagued him as he stood in front of that door and yet, before he knew it, Henry had fit that key in the lock and had pushed the door open with veritable ease. Sterling was vastly more vastly more cautious than his lover as he stepped in side that luxurious apartment, his gaze scanning the living room and kitchen as he stepped inside, all too aware of that door closing behind him.

He was surprised to find that the room in front of him was nearly exactly as he remembered it, with just few changes. The entirely flat smelled lovely and clean, that alone wholly astonishing the warlock as he stepped into the room, wandering towards that kitchen and the plethora of potted plants that lined the windowsills of those large windows in the dining room. A warm simper brushed his features, as he reached out to the leaves of that basil plant, so fondly feeling that greenery between his fingers. His bright blue eyes turned towards those like colored ones of his lover, a small simper settled upon his features. "It's all still here, Henry..." He muttered softly, entirely pleased and yet, somehow, taken aback by how much he had missed this place. He had dreaded returning here if only for fear of what they would find and yet, this hardly seemed nearly as terrifying as he had made it out to be. It was a screech of a bird that so saw his gaze raise, that small smile becoming a full fledge beam at the sight of that bird. "Fiducia!" He commented, hardly pausing as he made his way out towards the balcony and where that peregrine falcon awaited him. After all those months, he'd never expected to see her again and yet, even his precious bird still had waited dutifully for his return.
