South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

Atticus runs, aimlessly. The night is brightly lit by the white moonlight. Though her path is clear, everything is a blur. Her brain can't quite function yet she's aware somehow. She is able to tell her body to run, though other than that she feels nothing. It's a weird feeling. A numbness, swallowing her body as a whole. Her gray eyes wide open in a panic. She can't quite feel anything, but she can notice overwhelming changes. For one, she knows she is no longer in her own body. She can see better, way better. Every little tree branch and sound echoes and rings loudly within her ears. Every smell dances into her nose.

She would look beautiful, majestic almost if it wasn't for the fact that she was such a mess right now. A white German Shepherd, dripping in her own bright crimson blood, painted with dirt and mud. The smell of her own blood almost overwhelms her, and the fact that she can even smell it freaks her out even more. Yet, she keeps running. Running and running, away from those men, those dogs...whoever they were. Whatever had happened.

Everything was misty in her memory. One minute, she's out on an evening run with her older sister, the next she feels a heavy hit to her back and she tumbles to the floor, her head bouncing off the hard road and giving her a concussion. From there, everything is a blur. She remembers seeing her sister's shoes one moment, then when she opened her eyes again her sister was nowhere in sight. Standing where her sister was a moment ago was an Anaconda. A fucking massive anaconda. Atticus remembers freezing in fear for a moment, staring up at the anaconda who was now hissing at something behind her. She could feel the blood drain from her face in fear and her body become paralyzed by shock.

A bite to the leg. A German shepherd was now tugging at her leg, his sharp unforgiving teeth digging deeper into her. Atticus screams as she snaps back to reality, and she tries to grasp to something, but there is nothing around her except for the dirty road. The Anaconda moves quickly to strike, the mean scream, Atticus ducks down. This is it.. she thinks. But she feels nothing, except the dog release its jaws and a loud yelp of pain. Two more dogs and a man grab a hold of Atticus and she begins to be dragged away. Her concussion making her head spin, as she turns to see something terrifying: the sight of the massive anaconda hissing and wrapping its body one of the dogs, now turning limp in its grasp, and the men and a few other dogs frantically trying to release the dog. Atticus screams for her sister, who seems to have disappeared, all while crying from the pain of the dog's jaws that dug onto both her legs now. Another hit to her head. Darkness..

From there, she's not sure what happened. She remembers feeling fear. She knows deep in her mind that she somehow got away from those men, but she has no recollection of ever getting away. From there, the next moment she's aware is her running. She didn't know where. Well, she did; away. Away from them. To someplace else, far away where they won't be able to find her. To someplace where she can hopefully track down her sister. She had disappeared, and didn't seem to have been taken by the men. Hopefully she was safe. Hopefully she was alive.

Water. She makes a few full strides to the edge of the water, where she tries to bend her neck down to get some water. She looks at her reflection and she freezes, panting. A Dog. A white dog. She's.... a dog? Her gray eyes stare directly back at her new form. She knows nothing of other creatures... where she is from, everyone seems pretty normal. At least as far as she knew. She opens her mouth to scream, but all that comes out is a terrible whine. She drops to the floor, her body dropping heavily. She's exhausted. She's lost a lot of blood. She's losing consciousness... again. Dark, everything begins to dim...
