South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The small triumph that is the retraction of her fangs does little to quail the insurmountable anxiety that festers within, a dastardly poison bleeding through the delicate fabric of her inner workings and chewing away at her as some rabid and beastly imp. The denial of her 're-birth' comes no easier without the subtle pressure of fangs beyond the velvety cushions of her lips, for truly her entire form is a undeniable testament to the fact that she no longer lives, not in the traditional sense. Isolt is, hereafter and forevermore, to be counted amongst the legion of the undead... suspended in some permanent purgatory between life and what comes after. It is a thought that is kept at bay, lost within the permeating and wildly billowing fog of her own considerations for the moment at hand. A blessing, really, for such an earth-shattering realization would have surely seen her crumble in upon herself in such a way that the notion of recovery might have only existed as a far-off pipe dream.

"Because I'm...," she begins, though the words are acid to mind and mouth, a vile and burning tang that she cannot hope to stomach. Not here, not now. The young redhead knows as well as her counterpart that the far better inquiry would be why she would wish to remain here, executing a tireless effort to comfort a young girl she knows naught about. A young girl to whom she owes nothing. Regardless of her hesitance, Isolt cannot deny the measure of comfort to be gleaned from the creature's touch, even the caress of dampened fur upon chilled and ghastly flesh is a soothing thing. The methodical stroking of the warm and fleshly slab of the canine's tongue seems to ease, in some miniscule way, the chill that will forever consume her. It is perhaps the only thing that dared pierce through the veil of dumbness that unfurls upon her... so absolute that she does not feel the kiss of the torrent as it pours ever downward.

"That doesn't mean you have to stay." Stiffened digits curl gently into the multi-tonal pelt of her impromptu companion as Isolt rises upon shaking limbs. The auburn-haired girl traipses onward, her shoes fighting against the muddied loam beneath her as she walks, her trajectory aimless. For a time she succumbs to silence, hardly chancing a glance back at her partner. Finally, in a tone that is shamefully meek but one that she cannot hope to battle, she speaks. "How do I get out of here? I want to go home..."
