South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

She could see his jaw set in that way that said he wasn't going to stand for it. Looks like he wasn't going to be accepting anything, at least not today. She could stand here and argue with him all day if she had to but she knew it wouldn't convince him. Apparently he could stand even more stoic than she could. If he was happy in his denial then who was she to stand in his way? She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, seeing that she was starting to make him angry. She didn't want him to regret letting her stay here and possibly throw her out where the assholes could find her. Her leg wasn't quite healed all the way but she could sense that his patience was wearing thin. Finally she shrugged.

"FINE, BE A HUMAN. THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR TRYING TO RELATE TO YOUR KIND ANYWAY. IF YOU'RE A HUMAN, THEN I GUESS I'M A COYOTE. MIGHT AS WELL GO FIND A SPOT IN YOUR BACK YARD TO CURL UP AND CHEW ON SOME BONES. PARTY WITH YOUR BIG GLASS OF DENIAL. CHOKE ON IT WHILE YOU'RE AT IT."

Okay, so her temper wasn't known for being gentle in any way. It was even more frayed with her frustration over being stuck in this human form and not knowing what to do. She hated feeling helpless. She knew he probably wouldn't take kindly to her words so she was already straightening up to limp to the door. She needed some fresh air anyway because now she just really wanted to bite his ear and tell him how stupid he was being. She heard his quip about whispering and she shook her head.

"I WASN'T WHISPERING. I WAS BREATHING THE WORDS. NO HUMAN COULD HEAR THAT. I'M NOT STUPID."

Her growing anguish wasn't making this any easier and she knew it. She just couldn't stop it. HE was only going to tense and brace himself the more she pushed but once she started the fuse, she couldn't get herself to stop, not until she got a good run in or fight or...just something. She needed to blow off some steam so she could calm down and talk rationally. That is, if he even wanted to talk to her after this. She knew she was blowing their friendship or whatever it was they had over this issue. If only she'd just let it go. But she had one more test. She made her way to the light switch and flipped it off, only to hear him growl in irritation and finish the bed thing before he came to flip the light back on. Now she could really see the growing anger in his eyes and she sighed.

"YEAH, I'M DONE."

Scowling, she went to the door, pulling it closed behind her with finality before she took off at a gimpy run. It still hurt like hell every time she put weight on her leg but she clenched her teeth and worked through it. She didn't want him to stop her if he was one of those "let's talk this out like adults" kind of people. She didn't want to talk about it. She wanted to tackle him to the ground and put his nose in the dirt until he agreed to open his mind up a little. But she couldn't do that in this form, at least not until she healed. This was the human world and things were different. Arguements were treated differently, but it was still too fresh and raw. But she did know of one place where anger still ensued and tempers flared and arguments turned to violence. And that's exactly where she'd go.
