South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Henry was not himself when he cornered Sterling and began to maul him. There was no more Henry in the cat, at least not that he could control. Everything he seemed to be doing was pure instinct. His feline form was scared and felt threatened, so it attacked at the only other thing in the room: Sterling. Claws ripped at the skin of his groin, his calf, and his back, taking whatever slices he could take.

But then there was a flash of light and a fire erupted around Sterling, the flames burning some of the fur on Henry's body. The cat's fear of fire had him pulling back quickly, positioning himself against the wall farthest from the flames. Eyes watched as Sterling moved through the cabin, making his way slowly towards the bathroom before closing the door behind him. The cat moved towards the door, the fire no longer there to stop him. He pawed at the door, finding it unable to be opened. And so, he retreated from the door and curled on the bed, eyes resting on the door.

By the time morning dawned, the boat had anchored at their destination. The cat was no more and instead, there was the naked form of Henry sleeping soundly on the bed. When the sun began to shine into the room, Henry began to stir. Slowly, he sat up, finally opening his eyes. He had expected to see Sterling laying quietly next to him. Instead, he awoke to what looked like a massacre. There was blood everywhere â€" the floor, the walls, the bed. But what was the most frightening was the trail of blood that led towards the bathroom.

Henry practically flew off the bed as he ran towards the bathroom door, twisting the knob and throwing the door open. He nearly let out a scream as he saw his boyfriend laying on the tile flood, a pool of blood surrounding him. He settled on the tile next to him, feeling for a pulse â€" it was weak, but there. "Jesus, Sterling..." Henry brought his head into his lap as he explored the wounds on his lover's body. They were claw marks â€" distinctly marked. Shit. Henry knew what happened. Sterling had been right. He had changed...he had done this to his boyfriend. Standing, he easily picked up Sterling's body and brought him over to the bed and settled him on it before he grabbed a pair of boxer shorts and opened the cabin door. "SOMEONE GET AN ABULANCE!!!!" His screams of terror were enough to get the crew high stepping towards a phone, hoping to get an ambulance here for their only guest.

Henry seated himself again beside Sterling, running his fingers along his lover's face. "I'm so sorry, Sterling..." While he didn't remember anything that happened last night, he could only assume this was what he had done. There was no one else in their cabin.
