South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

SOMEDAY I'LL WALK AWAY AND SAY
YOU FUCKIN' DISAPPOINT ME

Maybe You're Better Of This Way...

Dealing with Raven was no easy task, even under the best of circumstances. I have done my utmost in an attempt to gain a semblance of trust from the she-wolf. But the female had a fractured mind, so badly tormented that she demeans or denounces any measure of kindness towards her person. It is difficult to say why she came to accept working under my employ at all at the Devil's Den... if only I suppose, to allow her to be closer to Tobias.

There was potential in the girl. I could smell it. But often times I caught her watching me through guarded eyes, as if I were some monstrosity set upon the Earth to make her every waking moment a nightmare. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to draw her from her shell in the first place, for it seems she is dead-set to never look upon me as an ally, let alone a friend.

As I round the girl, I can see the white of her eyes as she begins to panic. I move slowly and deliberately. With her special power to triple her normal size she was currently massive by all wolf standards, reaching impossible height and girth. I would tread carefully lest she decide I am in this moment, her enemy; even with a muzzle she could do considerable damage if she so chose.

I leaned forward to get a grip upon the leather, but she jerks her head away nervously and I am unable to make the cut. A feminine voice fizzles through the night, one I do not recognize and it causes my hackles to bristle as I turn my indigo spheres upon the white and silver bitch. She was comely enough in appearance to be sure. But her eyes gleam with a wont for blood and the fierce expression does little to speak of any non-violent intent. When she speaks, however, it is only to suggest a hunt, her logic that such action may reduce Raven's stress and allow her mind to focus on other things. It was not altogether a bad idea, despite the fact I know nothing of the female.

"And just who are you, exactly?} I question her just as Romulus appears on the scene, my recently elected Beta Male, and I feel more at ease knowing he is here should this strange femme make any attempt at an assault. {Romulus.} Deep baritone rumbles in greeting. {Give the girl some room until I can get this thing off of her.} I spoke to both wolves.

A rustle of bushes and a small red vixen steps out into the open. I recognize her as the same fox whom Raven and Nadya had been so fond of during the last full moon. Alexis... if I remember the name they'd spoken correctly. Her eyes are fixed upon the large black and silver she-wolf, a tenor of worry sent through the telepathic message directed towards Raven.

Indigo eyes turn to her, seeking assistance. {Alexis...correct?} I inquire. {Perhaps you can come and lend me a paw in this? Raven trusts you better than I.} Seeing the crimson fox's hesitation, a flick of my large silver tail is given.

{Do not fear girl. Upon my Honor, no harm shall befall you within my presence. I cannot break the leather...it must be enchanted by some spell. And I cannot undo the clasp with my large teeth. perhaps your smaller fangs will make better work of it.}

I wait then to see if she will comply, turning back to clasp the harness within my teeth gently once more. That subtle pivoting of my body is, in that moment, a saving grace. For no sooner had my hindquarters side-stepped around than a pricking of needle-sharp fangs sinks into my skin like the stab of many sharp and dainty blades.

A hoarse bark of pure outrage snaps from my jaws and I release my hold upon the muzzle to whip my head around. I curl around on myself with surprising flexibility, undulating like a constrictor to double back on my own leg, jaws snapping with bone-crushing force in the face of my tiny adversary. I lifted my hind leg, discovering the silver fox dangling from the ankle, and shake the appendage vigorously to dislodge her.

{What the Fuck-?!} I snarl at her. {Get the Hell off me you little bitch, lest you wish we should have silver fox on our dinner menu tonight...} It wasn't a warning. It was a serious promise. My mind was clouding with a red haze of rage, and I was struggling to keep my temper. I did not wish to lose it in front of Raven or the timid red fox.

But I would make good on my word. Certainly Romulus and the silver-white she wolf would have no problem making blood-sport of the small silver vulpix.
