South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Why he had the audacity to believe in such an archaic manner she could not comprehend that these sort of beliefs still continued. Ebony fur bristled at the mere thought that she was to be beneath the unhinged boy simply because she was blessed with a feminine design. From what she understood about her pack and others, was that male and female would on the same level, but it was ranks that determined if you had a higher or lower status. The female Alpha had more say and control than a male Beta. Why he seemed to think that she was under his control simply because of gender was something that she wanted to change, eventually. If his mind was bred to think such things then she would happily figure out a way to make it work against him. How could she blame his thought process if, perhaps, he was taught such things. Even though she was taught to think such dark thoughts she had chosen not to think such things because her will was much stronger than his. With his paw coming towards her she would dodge from it, quickly, ducking her form and circling around him once more. With his rumbling snarl she would pull her black lips back silently bearing him her teeth before he began to settle some. Seeing the yawn allowed the girl to relax, if somewhat a little, as she took a careful step towards him. Skull tilt to the side as she brought her fluffy plume down and curled around her back foot in a non-threatening manner. Her voice would gently slip into his, seeking to widen the crack he had accidentally made in his thought process.

"Then how am I supposed to find a pack or a mate if a male has to go to you first?"

Apparently her inquiry wouldn't be answered. Perhaps she had accidentally stumped him to where he had no reply and out of pride he would simply ignore it. If she was lucky, maybe he understood and would respond later on when the time was right. Yet his focus, and now hers would be on the hopping rabbits below. Unfazed by his desire and force to have the good looking plump rabbits she would taken the one spilt in two, silently agreeing that he needed the other tasty morsels, if only because he was far too skinny than he should be. Even though Lucian provided him meals and she would provide him a plate of her own home-cooked meals when he came about, all that food didn't seem to be enough. But even looks can be deceiving. During some nights, if she was still awake she'd hear his call in the warehouse beckoning her to sleep beside him. Why he would request such a thing she did not know, but she had found over time it was best to just perform the act then constantly ask him why. The only possible reason she could come up with, was that on certain nights the warehouse would simply be cold and he wished to have a natural warm heater beside him. Which, in a way, didn't bother her, because the nightmares she had would simply disappear if she was lying beside him. It could be possible that even though he wasn't pack, there was safety in numbers, and in her mind there was no reason to spread fear when another was nearby. It was at night, lying beside him she couldn't feel his ribs anymore, not there were some meat on his bones, yet still his lanky form appeared scrawny.

While eating her meal quietly, she would ignore him completely not wishing to look on him as he ate should he get the impression that she would steal from him. Licking her grey coated paws, cleaning herself up after the meager meal, she heard his exclamation that he was fine and that they should go home. A soft snort would leave her muzzle as she placed her paw on the ground watching him. Why he wished for them to return home and why she had to follow him now was beyond her. The day was getting late and she had no plans the following morning wishing to take this opportune moment to by herself for a change. Lifting herself on her own paws, her head would tilt to the side when he opened his jaws showing his teeth as his voice held a more severe command. Growing softly she would follow after him padding quietly. Her shoulder would gently slide from his flank, across his side down to his shoulder in a friendly gesture as she walked beside him, keeping her gait matching his, but her head lowered slightly, if only to provide him the certainty that he was leading them home. Soft voice would slip into his gently as slate eyes met his golden ones for a split second.

"You could say please you know."
