South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

Their momentary argument has Vhalla arching her brows in an amused fashion. Though she didn't deign to comment, she let her own retorts go unchecked in her mind as the exchanged words with each other. Shrugging silently to herself, Raven hadn't asked her but if she had been able to respond to that comment; why yes, Vhalla would indeed call a lion a kitten. Hiding that amused smile, it's instantly gone the moment she can feel and smell that sharp tang of magic wrap around her. Flailing wildly, she doesn't take a moment to consider that if she fell, it would hurt. Instead, her limbs flail, until that ice is firmly beneath her again, grunting as she pushes herself off Raven only to slip and reach for the werewolf again to steady herself.

When that growl emits from Raven's throat, the assassin might have risen to the challenge, yet she was so entirely wrapped up in concentration on not falling, she ignores it. Feeling Raven yank her arm away from her, Vhal merely arches a brow at the woman giving her a look that said, "You were the one that brought me here," yet, Vhalla refrains from her sassy retorts. Fixing her gaze on the ice, she must swallow that fear a few times before she can look up and glance at the two women standing before her.

The assassin had merely wanted to practice her magic in solitude, and yet, she found herself here, standing on a lake that shouldn't be frozen. When Raven folds her arms and speaks to Vhal, her icy eyes flick up to meet the scarred woman's face, "I can see that," the witch responds coolly, though no anger is held there, perhaps a bit of surprise and curiosity and even a touch of annoyance. Vhalla couldn't bring herself to feel angry towards the two women, they clearly meant no harm.

When the assassin finally turns back to Sera and asks for a name, she's surprised to not hear a sarcastic retort, instead the woman answered her, a bit teasingly albeit. And when Sera gestures for her foot, Vhal surprises herself with lifting a foot and allowing the blade to be formed on the bottom of her boot. Brows arched, she stands on the blade carefully, holding a hand out for balance as Sera repeats the same to her other foot. It was an odd feeling to have ice on her shoes and when she made a step to move, her legs wobbled so violently she thought she might fall. Catching herself, she halts her movements entirely, and stands there, refusing to move an inch.

She had decided, she didn't like the feeling of standing on nothing but ice.

Making a sly comment about the two being a couple, Raven draws Vhal's attention again to see that smile bloom across her lips. She hardly has a chance to respond to the woman before Raven is quite literally propelling Sera across the lake. Vhalla's eyes dart to Sera, watching, mouth gaping slightly as she woman zig zags over the lake by whatever force Raven was using. She might have commented on it, might have asked how it was done until she could feel those invisible hands wrap about her again, that tang of magic snuffing itself up her nose as she in turn began to move. Wheeling her arms, she lets out a startled squawk as she in turn is being forced to zig zag across the lake.

Biting back another squeak, she throws a quick look over her shoulder, glancing back at Raven with wide eyes, "Stop," she demands, a bit breathless as she can feel her power stir in her gut. The last thing she needed was to lose control on this frozen lake and send them all plummeting into those freezing depths., "Raven," she says a bit louder, a warning now entwined with her lyrics.
