South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Mira has admitted defeat in this, name charade. He had been so utterly stubborn about keeping his name card so close to chest, no one would be able to pry it free from his ironclad grasp. It only had made the green eyed man more curious and mysterious as though he used his name, or lack-there-of a first name to shield the world from him. That was when the scent of irritation peppered the atmosphere between them, she could practically reach out with her outstretched fingers to feel the prickly emotion of his lack of amusement. Wereanimals, especially the predatory ones had a way to fill up a room with their emotions. She hadn't been that difficult, had she? The man had a way of being a tad grumpy and yet still he spoke, despite his displeasure with her in that very moment. She could see how difficult it was to say and perhaps she felt a little bad at pushing him too far, he had shown her a kindness today.

The she-wolf could not help the unbidden smile that found her lips, so slowly at first, at the realization what he was doing. "Aiden.." She whispers the name upon her tongue, not meaning to repeat it, probably pissing him off further because that softly spoke utterance. Those blazing golden eyes seem to soften to a warm glow of embers. "You didn't need to tell me Tetradore, but I appreciate it all the same. If it means anything to you, it suits you." Her words were followed with a cheeky grin. Yeah, she didn't know this cranky male at all, but somehow, the name suited him. It was more of a feeling than anything but he would at least get points for sharing. He would be rewarded with changing the subject.

It would be a subject that would be far easier and less personal than plucking a name from his stubborn and defiant mind. Perhaps he could try to be a little more creative with his answers and it was not so surprisingly met with an idle shrug of his shoulder in response to her. He certainly did that a lot around her. A little smirk found its way to her lips, as though it were a joke all of her own making. Perhaps it was the poison seeping its way to her mind. Her skin felt oddly cold to the touch, the room not exactly feeling entire stable, as though the very chair she sat in rocked back and forth.

Yet somehow, she managed to listen to every word of his story, trying to piece together the answers to her copious amount of questions that wanted to flood all at once. Her curiosity, perhaps was one of her bigger downfalls and yet she could tap into truths better than a tap of a beer keg. Truth was something that meant everything to this woman with the rich mahogany hair, tangled in a web of confusion much like her at this very moment. She felt as though as she lived a life of disorder, so many variables and without a lucid mind at this very moment to navigate through its problematic haze. It was within this apartment, across the table from the mysterious panther that she felt exposed, especially as the questions so shifted upon her. Oh the hot seat was never fun, but a deal was a deal.

He explained why and it almost sounded a little comedic if she didn't know that Frost was a nightmare incarnate. Also, the fact that that these two men waged a battle of territories, trying to clearly determine what was there's, people included. Only, surprise to Tetradore, a woman could never be fought over. Women simply have a mind of their own and they would do what they wanted to do, no matter what anyone else said, even a brother that only wanted to protect his sister. "Well, shit." She said with feeling, that would have to be hard. Knowing someone was making a mistake, or at least thought they were and there was nothing you could do to stop it. "Well we all know you can't stand in a woman's way once they have their mind made up. You can only hope that she will one day come to her senses and hope to hell that the damage isn't severe. Or you can always kidnap her and store her in your basement until she finds sanity again. But if maters of the heart are involved, things tend to get a little sticky. You know, just look at how you felt when he attacked your loved one." Was she consoling him? Maybe she was just a little off her rocker. Or maybe she felt bad for him.. Or maybe it was that pesky poison. Yeah that's it, blame it on the poison and a full belly.

It was like he had stuck her with his question, why she had lit her car on fire. It was entirely reasonable to ask. She wanted to respond, that it was a piece of shit who had seen its last breath of life, and she had wanted to give it a Viking funeral. She had no choice but to be transparent with him, her eyes look upon the complicated lines within the wood of the table. A grim look crept upon her wild features. "Someone's perceptive.." She teased, before she returned to her story. "I burnt my car because I don't want to be traced here. I have finally escaped the clutches of a very wicked man. He was alpha of a territory, much like your own but his reach is growing each year. However, he was insistent that whatever he possessed was never enough. He just took what he wanted and enslaved. He possessed rather than earned and everyone else was simply there to do his bidding and too afraid to contradict him for fear of the repercussions. I know I am underplaying this but he was a cruel man and took pleasure in breaking us, one by one. He was the man that turned me, and the man that tried to destroy me by taking away everything I had. My freedom, my family, my life, and my freewill. He never had the chance to succeed though, I can be rather difficult. I am a Ramos after all. I found my opportunity to escape and I took it. It was when he sent me on one of his missions.. He wanted me to pressure a well-known family, the same way he had captured me. Threaten the family until the one that he truly wanted sacrificed themselves to turn and join his ranks becoming indebted to him. All whilst he still collected monthly monetary donations from the family to ensure their safety, which was all total bullshit. He killed and maimed just to make a point, even if it was wrong." He was a mastermind, the most calculating and fucked up individual she had ever known. She didn't even touch on the things that he made his 'favourites' do. All of the things that she had to do in order to protect her family and keep herself alive. It was enough to wake you up screaming in the middle of the night, but she was stronger than that. Her voice felt hollow, even to her. She told the story like it was someone else's life, the way a soldier might describe a battle.

She was beginning to wonder if they would all be better off dead than be indebted to such a monster. It was a simple truth and it haunted her to this day. Yet it is important to know Mira was no defeatist. She simply did not know how to submit, to give up, despite what she was forced into. It was never in her nature.

"I left because I couldn't take anymore.. I put everyone's lives at risk, including my own and now I risk yours. If he ever knew you helped me, he would come after you. I don't know how far his reach is, or how badly he wants me. But I know he will be itching to make an example of me. No one escapes his pack with their life. So it's probably best I leave as soon as I can, so I can blend in as best as I am able." She cleared her throat.. " I'm sorry for betraying your kindness. I won't let any kind of backlash harm you or your pack. And I will be damned if I let Frost try to talk me into anything." The truth was, she would simply allow herself to be broken or be executed than to allow that kind of recoil came to an undeserving doorstep. She avoided his eyes, afraid of the loathing she might find there. At the very least he knew enough of the story to make sense of this. "This is my 'why'.. you probably got more than you bargained for with your question about my car. I think I blame it on the poison its making my head feel funny." Instantly, she feels all the more vulnerable and irresponsible to share such vital information with this strange. She shared far more than she should have, leaving a deep well of confusion and regret. If he opened his mouth to the wrong person she would be screwed, if he shunned her out on the street right this second without fully healing, she would have been screwed.
