South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Sun Also Rises

How curious it was to find another Fae in a situation so similar to his own, at least in some respects. When he so considered all the beings he knew and in all the years he had known them he was rather assured Troy would have been near the last he would ever have considered finding romance with a vampire when he had seemed all but horrified at the idea before. Dorian wholly oblivious to his companion's considerations of just those things he did with Amelia and how much his ideas had changed from that initial horror to so allowing Amelia to feed from him willingly. The Italian King would surely have found even further amusement in that had he been aware of those ideas. After all, Troy had once be so very against the mere existence of vampires that to find himself so anticipating a child with one was utterly shocking to Dorian, let alone Tory himself. The Fae not at all assured how it was so Troy could even sleep at night when his mind must be positively swimming with wonderings and questions and curiosities of that child to be. He was thankful, truly, that it was hardly himself in such a situation. Dorian assured he would never have been able to stand how much of that situation was unknown.

Still- the birth of any child, he was sure, no matter how it had come about or with whom was worthy of celebration. The other Fae seeming delighted about the prospect of Fatherhood and as such, for now, Dorian was simply inclined to celebrate it with him. Even if he was sure whiskey was something of a debatable drink. The taste was not terribly unpleasant, more so it was simply far more potent than he had anticipated, the liquid positively burning his throat. People did not nearly drink enough wine these days. That question about Andras however, a man he knew readily, was wholly unanticipated, that surprise lingering briefly upon his features before his head nodded simply in conformation that he did, indeed, know the man in question. Dorian having only re-acquainted himself with the fellow of late and yet his memories of the man he had meet all those centuries ago remained intact. It was curious, perhaps, that Troy should take so much sway in his own opinion of the man and yet he supposed, with a child on the way, the other Fae was merely assessing each option posed to him. Dorian finding he could hardly blame him in any sense. The Monarch considering his own words carefully then, piecing together his thoughts upon Andras as a whole. After all, the man had never given him any reason to doubt his sincerity or his abilities as a leader. He had proven he could competently lead a large Monarchy and from what Dorian had seen of him the man had proven to be fair. Dorian suggesting just that as he took another sip off his drink.

That query on Andras' thoughts on vampires seeing his own features frown slightly. He had never truly queried the other Fae on that, after all, when they had first met all those years ago there had been no need. Vampires in the Palace at Caserta had been rare beyond the single one whom had worked in the dungeons and Dorian had paid him little heed. Troy's question a valued one all the same.

"Do you know, I have never asked him? Yet I think this is a very good question. It may well be worth discussing with him before you make any commitment. I should like to know his thoughts too."

He mused. Truly he had not given any consideration to just what others might think of a child born of a vampire or any threat that may pose to either that child or Amelia herself. Would others be intolerant off it? Would such a child and its mother be the target of Hunters? Would they be the targets of other vampires or even other Fae? How much more consideration such a thing might need.

"I should like to hope that your girlfriend and child will not face any persecution though I think you are right to be cautious. If you should ever need assistance though, in anything, do not hesitate to call me. I have many resources at my disposal."

That simper touched his lips all the same, his offer entirely sincere in this. After all, Troy was his friend, was he not? If either he or his child or girlfriend should ever need that safety then Dorian was assured he might provide it. After all, he had all of Italy at his disposal if need be. The monarch draining that last off his drink then before pausing to hand Troy that card printed with his name and number upon it.

"I should be returning home but this is my phone number, if you should ever need anything. I am pleased things are going well for you though. I should like to meet Amelia one day too and perhaps your child- in time."
