South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

As a pack wolf she was accustomed to feeling the pull and tether against herself and the rest of her family. They were strong pulls and yet there was another that was equally as strong. It pained her when she was gone for far too long between her pack mates and the raven-haired witch. It was easier when they were both nearby each other. Not only could she travel back and forth between the two, but the pain she felt would go numb. If she could have the witch live in her shop, or better yet the Ark, then maybe everything would be perfect! Yet the lupine knew there was no way the woman would dare step foot in the Ark again let alone even lay her head in one of their rooms. And she wasn't quite sure how open her Alpha would be to having a non-pack member stay within his watery abode. Still though it was the absence of the bond that alerted Raven there was something wrong. Not once had she ever felt it disappear between herself and the witch. The absence of the bond between herself and Tetradore ached and she knew what the loss of that bond meant. She already lived through the horror and aftermath of her Alpha being dead and she had no interest and going through that same process again with her witch.

To see that the woman was not in any physical harm was quite a relief. Having her dial pressed into her side brought the creature a bit of ease. That bond between them humming. With a deep inhale she took in her scent, rubbing her own dial back and forth against her side, if only to cover Serafina in her scent, a necessary need that soothed her animal instincts. Informing the two of them that she would be staying with Serafina was a simple announcement of what was to happen. There would be no argument and no denial from either of them. She would lift her head from Serafina's side, storm colored eyes looking pointedly at the Dark Hunter, silently daring him to challenge her this right she had. Thankfully though Azrael had a compromise, although it wasn't an ideal one. A better one would be him sleeping on the couch in the living room. That Serafina would agree to having him with her tonight was met with a brief painful glance, before she roughly shook her head in agreement. Quietly she followed after the two giving the two plenty of space, allowing her to keep a look out just in case someone else within the band in the warehouse came out to attack. It was that glance from Azrael that made the wolf give them extra space even if that bond she felt for the witch began to throb. When they finally made it to Serafina's house she changed back into her human form, rubbing her aching hands as she climbed up the porch, ignoring the fallen and broken door.

"You can manage the door, right? Can't have it lying there for the world to see while we sleep...Mind letting Sera and I need go upstairs for a minute."

If she could respect their two needing space and time to talk, then surely both of them would oblige her moment. After all they would be back together within a few minutes anyways while she was left by herself. Following Serafina up the stairs she looked behind her, ensuring that the Dark Hunter was busying himself with other things. Without a word of warning the curly-haired woman gently grabbed ahold of the witch's arm turning her around and pulling her into a tight hug. It was like the two of them to be sentimental or touchy-feely like this. Neither of them showed any sort of need or requirement to have something like this between them. Whether Serafina liked it or not, Raven wouldn't let go just yet. After just a few moments of this intense hug she would quickly let go, taking a step back to give Serafina more room, just in case she didn't like it. Weakly she spoke up her voice shaking just a bit, the woman overwhelmed with emotion elated, sad, afraid, and well...exhausted. It had been a rocky roller coaster ride these last few hours.

"I was afraid you know. I never felt something happened to you, I couldn't feel you Sera, our bond wasn't there. That was how I knew something was wrong and you were in trouble. I came to see you at work, but you weren't there and when I came here and saw your house like this, I was even more terrified. I thought... maybe Frost got you or my Fath- he... If something happened to you I could never forgive myself. You're my best friend."

Quite frankly anything dreadful could have happened. Surely Serafina would at least grasp some understanding with how she was feeling or at least understand where she was coming from. Sheepishly she gave the woman a small smile, flinching when she heard a loud bang downstairs coming from the Dark Hunter's attempt at giving the door a temporary fix. With a shrug she turned around to head to the guest room, muttering softly.

"I suppose I should go to the other room before Azzy gets upset with me still being here. I'm happy you're still here Sera, and safe.

And with one last small smile, she retreated to her room, ready for a well-deserved rest.
