South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South

The war horse exhaled softly into that night air, his breath rising like smoke as those kittens scrambled onto his sides and back, their tiny paws and feather light weight hardly felt by the stallion as he merely reclined. He....understood children, to some extent. He was content with them. Children were easy, simple, they did not judge. They were innocent in that world and some part of that simple optimism with which they viewed life appealed to him. He had been raised with children since the day of his own birth, had learned to regard them, exist around them and attend to at least some of those needs. Children he understood. Children he was comfortable with. Frost taking some momentary pleasure for Nadya's own contentment to at last allow herself to relax with those children in his own presence. He had made a promise after all, that he would never bring them harm. That one, at least, he remained determined to uphold. It was unusual in some sense perhaps that the man was so wholly accepting of children he had hardly fathered and yet he had known those kittens over half their lives. They were young, small and malleable still. They held no connection nor loyalty to anyone outside their mother. They were an asset to have, at least to his own mind. After all, children would only grow and mature and one day- be of use to the pack in turn, the stallion entirely content to see the larger picture- he had been raised to do as such. Besides, it was not in the nature of the equine species to remove the children of another. Herd was herd. Pack was pack. It was simply the way it was. Frost having grown to have some...affection for those children all the same in a way he had simply been denied with his own.

His own neck arched over, allowing Nadya to rub her head against his own, those purring sounds seeing his ears prick forward in curiosity and yet he hardly made an effort to prevent those feline affections, obscure as he found them, the panther settling on her haunches beside him then. Frost finding himself almost peaceful in that moment before the mention of his homeland saw that exhale of air. Returning to Iceland would prove...difficult in more ways than one, that Hunter Council held offices all over the country, the entire nation sure to be on watch for himself and his return. After all, they had anticipated it, had been waiting for him for years. The idea of placing Nadya within that danger decidedly....displeasing to consider and yet too there was every chance those Hunters might hold little interest in any creature not a horse. Yet that risk remained. The man nodding simply to her assurance she would pack for longer if his suspicion proved right and they need return via several other European countries. Frost found those thoughts turning readily within his mind before he cast them aside, interrupted by Nadya's own query upon his Mother. It was rare entirely for the stallion to make any mention of that woman whom had raised him. He was notoriously private by nature, mentions of family few and far between, his mother a true....sore point within his existence if only for his inability to return to her, those emotions he so often denied far more raw upon that singular topic. That idea that she might disapprove of Nadya for her species an idea the man himself had not truly considered.

"I think, Naja, that you will find my Mother would merely be delighted to see that I had found someone at all. I do not think your species will define her opinion of you."

He was almost sure it would not. His Mother might well prove to be delighted to see something other then an equine when all her life she had been surrounded by nothing but- yet still, that alone so prompted further consideration. Nadya was hardly of the prey variety. Her scent alone would be sure to disrupt those equine, many of them far more instinctive, more given to the flighty nature of there Were from rather then that human side. Getting Nadya in at all might yet prove to be difficult, Frost so considering his powers further then before that mention of Nadya's own family saw the equines head raise. He had not, he supposed, given to much consideration to Nadya's family outside of her brother- a man he had no desire to deal with further. A part of him almost loath to consider whether or not the rest of her family might prove to be so bothersome and yet there was a matter of rightness to that meeting. Was it not the done thing? His ideas of dating decidedly....unsure and yet it seemed only right.

"I think it would only be right to do as such. I have never had to meet parents before but it seems- the done thing. Where do they live? Do we need to travel? Do they know of me?"
