South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Of course it said something if Raven was capable of trusting another soul, especially one that wasn't the same race as her. The she-wolf was quite particular on who she trusted and those she would surround herself with. Even though she and Serafina accidentally were bonded together by their own blood, that didn't mean they couldn't get along together. They had worked through their issues together and in the end they came out with a much stronger relationship. Of course there would be times when they would get under each other's skin, but at the end of the day, she knew she could rely on the raven-haired woman. Hopefully Serafina would be able to help Mira with her powers, or at the very least, offer some sort of suggestion. That Mira would give some thought to this opportunity to get control on her new power was enough. Raven didn't want to push the she-wolf towards Serafina, she needed to make that decision herself. Once Mira was down with accepting help, the next step would be seeing if the stubborn witch would be willing to help out too. Raven was sure she would want to help. Serafina would, right?

Raven was familiar with learning how to hone her abilities, especially the ones she wasn't familiar with. It had taken such a long time for Raven to perfect her telekinesis capability. There had been dozens and dozens of moments where her telekinesis ability made such a huge difference! From lifting up cars and tossing them, to making Frost go up and down like a yo-yo in his horse form, to preparing a special dinner within the kitchen. The she-wolf was quite proud of this capability. Perhaps once Mira had control she too would be happy with her gift. Why and how they were given these random gifts she did not know, but she was grateful for them. Especially the ability to communicate with non-Weres when she was in her wolf form. It really made it far easier to get her message or point across to others. There were so many things she was happy about with her gifts! Plus it was easier to share events, because she could input her memories into another's head, like a video. Yes, Mira would indeed enjoy her power, and perhaps even get more useful ones too!

The rattling of a bush nearby caught both their attentions. Grey-trimmed ears twitched as her eyes widen slightly, taking in the excitement and anticipation. This would be fun! A nice simple chase of prey could end with fun or food. She didn't care for which ones. Her head would raise slightly as cold nose sniffed the air catching the scent that the prey was a rabbit. That plush tail of hers waved back and forth in an excited manner, her body quivering, ready to go! And once they were able to, she shot off like a rocket, those massive grey paws barely slapping the ground, her limbs stretching as she ran swiftly as she could. Eventually they would stop. Blue-grey eyes remained widen as she looked around for that one motion that would notify her just where their target was. Following Mira she noticed the scent was much stronger in this section. Nodding her head at the offer the peculiar colored lupine moved herself into position. Once Mira charged at the bush to flush it out the she-wolf leapt snapping her jaws letting her instincts take control. It would seem her instincts took much control, because the lupine managed to snag it with her jaws, as she dove into the ground, her hold firm, but gentle, as one paw was placed upon her rabbit. Blue-grey eyes looked up, the wolf not killing the rabbit, just holding it, her tail wagging all proud and excited.
