South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

An unusual courting

Navi was pleased to peer over her shoulder and see Andras prowl softly behind her as she continued to swerve quietly through the maze of trees. After wandering for what seemed to be fifteen minutes of complete silence, they stumbled upon a tiny pond where the moonlight shone brightly in its reflection. Navi decidedly squatted down and ran her hands through the icy water. "So, what makes fae's that are first humans... different from those who are born fae?"
She retracted her fingers from the water and made her way back to Andras' side, looking intently to decipher his expression. Navi wanted to comprehend more about the transition from human to fae that she thought Andras perhaps had information on. For her, he was the only resource that allowed her to better understand herself. "Have you been a fae your whole life?" she inquired, listening intently. Both stood awkwardly face to face with one another. Breaking eye contact she stared down at her feet and thought deeply for a moment. "I figure it is best to be honest with Andras. This is the only chance I have," she thought inwardly.
Struggling to look Andras in the eyes, she knew that during this time of vulnerability he would be studying her like a book, she finally got the courage to speak about herself, truthfully. Painfully regaining eye contact with him she murmured, "I don't really know much about who I am. Nor what being a faerie even means exactly. It wasn't my choice to become one." Each word she uttered she seemed to become more hushed in volume. "That's why, I need to know all that I can," her face displayed a sudden determination and she now didn't dare look away. She waited to see his response at her sudden change in mannerism.
Navi had never spoke to another about her past, or even subtle hints of who she was. Yet again, she faintly understood that this could be her only chance as a way to know more about who she was, and who she became. "I'm Navi," she suddenly changed the subject. "You asked my name before, it's Navi." She listened as the man continued to answer all of her previous questions, such as his brief encounters with dark hunters, and his nightly walks to stretch his limbs. While he is drawling on she instantaneously perks up at the mention of a "safe haven". "Safe haven?" she half-heartedly laughs. "What's the catch?" she demands now taking a step closer to Andras. "Does it only consist of other faeries? Why would you choose me? I mean, you quite literally just made my acquaintance." She takes another step closer inches away from his face. She stared attentively, searching for any twitches in his face or an uneasy countenance. She didn't understand why he was so swift in he was in offering her a place to stay.
To her, it seemed that there was much more that was beyond the statement or friendly gesture. She liked the man...heck maybe she even felt herself start to trust him, but that didn't sway the fact that there might be something more than just a "court." "Why did you create a court? What is your intention with that?" she pestered him. "Before I give you any sort of an answer you must be truthful. I can tell the second you are dishonest. If that is the case and I catch you lying, I will have to turn down your offer," as she sternly spoke, she hoped he would prove to be sincere. She found herself wanting to become closer with Andras.
