South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I Want to go There

I've always been the one that enjoyed being around others. I don't know if I inherited that from my Mother or if I just naturally became that way. For some unknown reason I always seemed to be the person everyone wanted to talk to. It didn't matter if the person was young or old, girl or boy, black or white, there was just no limit to my special gift. I could chat with the cashier as if we were best friends. I could ride on the subway and everyone in that cab would be my new buddy for the day. I don't know why I am the way I am. Some people find that uncanny, but I always thought it was natural. Being around people was comfortable for me. But I guess that all changed when my parents died. Since then I was a bit more wary with who I spoke to. Once I know someone all that coldness melts away and I become a bit more of a delight to be around with. I guess now with the horsey side of me always craving to be around others it's been hard to keep it chill. My god it is so annoying! I don't want to be social, I don't have the desire to be close with others because it's not worth it. Everyone leaves...they always leave. I'd rather be alone than have to go through that roller coaster of a ride again.

Gently I stroke the bay stallion absentmindedly as I wait for the water to fill up his container. If only things were much simple I somehow envy the life of a real horse. Dear God it would be absolutely boring to be nothing more than a pet. At least I would be cared for. I'd get fed, bathed, watered, brushed, and given some exercise. I mean it would suck. Being told what to do without having a say, and if I did have a say I would be punished. Actually, on second thought, I'm already corrected when I speak my mind. Like right now. Being told not to sulk. Let me tell you want missy I'm allowed to sulk. You can't tell me what I can and cannot do. At least I'm the one that actually cares! She acts as if I've never mattered. Sure we only met once, but at least I was willing to trust her or at least start something with her. I couldn't help but scowl as my eyes slide towards her.

"So then, what arrangement are you looking for?"

Well, what do you want? Just a horse to use whenever you want and then toss me aside? Maybe Frost was right. Dark Hunters did only use them. Maybe I really should take up the Were-King's offer. Then again, was his offer truly genuine? I mean it sounded like it was. After getting drunk and baking a cake with him he appeared to be a nice guy. Dark, brooding, and cute, but mostly kind. With the water up to where it needed to be I move past the stallion and turn off the water. With a final twist of the knob, I turn and give him a gentle final pat and leave him be. Locking the latch in place I shuffle away from her side knowing she was still following. There had to be a reason why she came? Obviously it wasn't to give me an apology, so what? Rolling my eyes I head down the corridor past all the other horses until I near the training area. Taking my clothes off I set them on the nearby chair. No one would really come looking for me or at least bother these clothes. Stretching my arms out far and wide I sigh as I focus on the change. It's still not an easy thing to do, but it's close to being a full moon which means there's a little bit of ease. With a sharp cry I inhale sharply as my small frame shifted and contorted. Eventually my shift is complete and I stand there a bit uncertain and shaking. I don't shake from fear, I shake because my body is still processing everything, my nerves are lit up, and my body is reacting to the shock. With a rough snort I move forward, testing my legs, and seeing that I can move around just fine I start to calm down. Inhaling softly I catch her scent which reminded me that I had someone here. Oh wonderful. Turning around I simply stare at her, both ears pointed towards her at attention. What now?
