South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There was a strange amusement Navi saw that flickered across Raven's face when Navi decidedly deciphered her name. It was as if Raven had had this exact conversation before. Navi couldn't help but find fascination with names and especially how they played an essential role in describing who people truly are. For her, without her own name, her power would be meaningless, she thought deeply to herself. Navi's name meant navigator. Although, Navi had never made mention to anyone as to what and or how she guided others.

When she heard Raven casually brush off her vague description of her first name, Navi couldn't help but expose a bit of annoyance that shot across her face and scoffed. "I don't think names should be taken so lightly," she stated. "Why do you think we were named what we were? Don't you think your whole perspective of me would change if my name was for example, Shirley?" she questioned intensely, awaiting a reaction from Raven. "All I'm saying is that you should have more honor in the name you were given," she passionately spoke. That was one thing Navi had always respected was the name her mother gave her. Navi always understood that there was a reason parents named their child a certain thing, not just because the name was pretty or sounded nice. It was something, beyond that, that resonated deep within everyone's persona.

She could tell though, that this was not the time nor place to get into a huge debacle over it. "Anyways," Navi smiled and sighed, "it seems that that is not everyone's interest, so I will not pursue that further," she spoke defeatedly, transitioning the conversation elsewhere. Navi quietly listened to Raven go on about her new pack as they both laid side by side one another. Even though she could feel the jealously boil below the surface of her skin, she couldn't help but feel relieved that Raven was explaining how great she was treated by her new family. Navi had lost trust in others long ago, but it was refreshing to hear how optimistic Raven was.

As the conversation evaporated into the chilling air around them, Navi felt Raven's head looming over her, explaining the dangers of being in the outskirts and how not everyone was as nice as her. Navi didn't care whether this took Raven by surprise or not, but she busted out into laughter and started to explain to Raven some of her backstory. "I've lived throughout woods for longer than most. I am accustomed to the cold, bitter nights. As to Dark hunters, I've heard many legends about them but thankfully I have kept enough to myself to have avoided them thus far." "You're right though. You're about the friendliest one I've met. You shouldn't be so trusting of others as well," Navi reiterated.

Raven spoke convincingly of a place where Navi could find warmth and shelter for the rest of the night and it was hard to admit, but Navi wanted more than anything to find a safe place to sleep for once. Contemplating in the dead of night, she finally brushed herself off and slowly got up and stretched uttering the simple words as she stared into Raven's eyes, "I'll follow you,". Navi had agreed to go with the were she had become acquaintances with. "I will only stay for the night. I do not want to overstay my welcome," she wincingly half-grinned. Brushing away her petty emotions she turned fully to Raven now, watching her rise from the bed of leaves, shaking off the dirt from her luminescent coat, and inquired, "Where is it that we will be going?"
