South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya hardly used her abilities so it felt both foreign and exhilarating to do so. The explosive power she chose to show was the most flashy and easier to see the effects than her pheromone or gravity one. As soon as the splintering wood settled, the panther turned her gaze back to the canine whom seemed quite impressed. Her tail flicked in pride at the compliment she was paid. No one besides Frost had done so before and Nadya was quite sure the flattery had been to gain her favor at the time. Men were quite singular after all. "I'm sure with time you will come into yours." The reassurance to Mira's lack of confidence in her own powers was genuine coming from the panther.

The offer to take Mira to Frost was just as genuine. Their pack was small but Nadya was sure Frost might see something in the other woman to let her join. An invitation to a meeting was all she could offer though. The fact of most wolves traveling alone wishing to remain so shouldn't have been a surprise to Nadya though. Her large head dipped in understanding. "I appreciate your honesty." It was just as important to Nadya that whoever enters the pack like children as it was for them not to bring the pack any abundant danger. A pack could offer resources for protection in numbers but indeed Frost may not care for the additional fighting it may bring.

Nadya watched the wolf feed, her entire form noticeably calmer from the adrenaline and energy release the hunt had provided. "If you insist." Nadya had meant it when she had said that she didn't need any of the kill they took down but Mira offered. It was only polite. Nadya rose from her haunches and arced around the fallen elk to one of the hind legs. Those powerful jaws closed down near the top of the femur where it connected to the hip socket. It took only a few crunches down with that skull crushing jaw and a hefty tug for the female to rip the entire quarter from the animal.

The limb was just on the edge of being too big to carry but there was a much larger portion of meat on just that leg than the piglet she had caught earlier. "I suppose this is goodbye then. I wish you the best of luck with whatever burdens you. I'm sure I'll see you around." The city may be big but the Were community made it feel small. Once more Nadya dipped her head towards Mira before taking off.
