South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The momentary exclamation of surprise that leaves her lips as the point of the arrow parts her flesh sees hiw own gaze shift slightly. That she seemed almost surprised by the pain only further seeks to assure him she has hardly thought her plan through, or at the very least, she is somehow deranged, neither of which seem to bode well for the woman as the hunter continues to lounge before her, his manner only further assuring her he cares so little for her existence that he can barely be bothered to give her the time of day, reaching forward to haul her onto her feet- oblivious to the pain this may cause in her hand. She is an animal, barely human and as such he has no sympathy for her. He is not entirely sure she even feels pain like a human does, she is nothing more then some demonic act of mimicry, a beast hidden in human form. Maybe she didn't ask for it, maybe he holds some weakening inclination to help her, if only slightly, evidently content to offer her some chance at revenge for the person whom had done such a thing to her and yet this seems to be the only kindness he is willing to offer. He makes no move to hide the eye roll her offers at her attempt to remember, clearly holding little care for her tumultuous thoughts in these moments, watching her from beneath lashings of blonde hair, golden eyes lingering at last upon her own as she seems to struggle to recount the story. Were all animals this...slow and dull-witted? Or was this just...her? This, he thinks, is why he gave up women all those years ago. Perhaps they have the occasional use, after all, Hunter he may be, but he is still a man, he still has some needs and on occasion perhaps he can be content to keep the company of a woman, human or hunter, for a night or so and yet, since Evelyn there has simply been no other- the man assured there never will be. Hard to recollect?

"Try harder."

It is barely a murmur that passes his lips, amber gold eyes still held upon her as he waits for her to find some scrap of usefulness within her mind. It is a shame, perhaps, that she is possessing of this...disease, she may well have been a fairly....pretty creature if not for her affliction and truly if he can be given to find the responsible party he will be assured to make them pay- then come back to put her out of the misery of a Were-existence. It is a kindness, as far as he can tell, a kindness far more Were's should be willing to take him up on. Why anyone would want to live this sort of half-life he hardly knows. Her next words however, seem to earn her something of a response, this mention of a tattoo holding his attention as his eyes narrow slightly in some effort to picture this, features frowning momentarily before that frown shifts into a ready scowl.

"I don't need the help of someone like...you. I'm sorry you were bitten and I will find this...tattoo person if I can but as far as I'm concerned you're just as diseased as the rest of them now."

He offers little more than a callous shrug, attempting to push away that bare tendril of....feeling that seems to afflict him, that seems to take pity on the girl in some desperate attempt to revive what fragments of emotion he may have left, despite his efforts to force them down, the man becoming only more agitated within these moments before he finally manages another sigh.

"Where do you live? I'll....take you home and then I need you to draw this tattoo for me."
