South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Oliver Burton

Oliver peered down at the small russet coloured bear-like creature. His rich chocolate eyes stares at her with that hardened expression that would make lesser people melt into a puddle. He was harsh man, a man that didn't tolerate much and yet here was this obnoxiously cute thing staring at him with wide eyes and squeaks leaving her muzzle, that long tail flicking from left to right. His large intimidating stature hovered over her as though it very much threated to devour her.

Not to mention that roar, that nearly rattled the bark off every tree only make her look at him with awe on her face. She should had fled, should have feared the large imposing bone white bear that could literally pick his teeth her small, seemingly frail bones. He grumbled at her uselessly, the noise instilling awe rather than fear. His spoken words were not intended to bring forward more conversation and yet somehow it did. How the little bear seemed to miss those hardly gentle ques that he was certainly in a mood. A mood that radiated off of him in none too subtle waves and would naturally keep people at least 20 feet away. Yet here she stood, unafraid, a twinkle in her hazel eyes. It was beyond him. "I don't see any seals nearby, do you? Sometimes we need to adapt." He replied gruffly, a mischievous dangerous look creeping into his mahogany eyes, something predatory. Clearly he had to adapt, as he was not in that environment where he could hunt like his beast truly yearned for and thrived in. He needed to adapt, to make do with the resources he had. His beast wasn't entirely pleased about it, but he needed this place as much as he secretly loathed it in his dark brooding.

He was being a pill, as he loomed even closer his large bear paw was almost as large as her torso. He allowed those well used teeth of his to show, but it most likely wouldn't do much considering his other intimidation tactics seemed to be complete waste. What he hadn't anticipated when he mentioned that snide comment if she could climb was for her to prove it to him by climbing him. Inwardly he groaned and yet he couldn't fight that weird amusement that this little energetic creature seemed to possess. "Try it, but don't expect me to keep still." That British accent flooded through the connection of their minds. This 'little bit' better not chase away his meal. Yet, he didn't have the heart to truly chase her off. Was he absolutely off his rocker? Didn't she have better things to do? That tail flopped about in a rather adorable way, while those rather large eyes seemed to peer at him with fascination and a blissfulness he had never known. This was not the hunting trip he had anticipated, not for a single fraction of time.

Her response to him if she could be silent. Well, they would have to see about that, wouldn't they? She whispered in his mind and the man snorted at the whispering voice in her mind. He shook his massive head from side to side in disbelief. The little creature was certainly adorable but stealthy or survival instincts seemed to be lacking. Also! She knew nothing about hunting fish, he wondered how well equipped those claws were made for fishing. Surely, her mere height alone would have problems with the pressure of running water. He had a sneaking feeling this was not going to be quick nor easy.. and most certainly not quiet. She demonstrated how she could be a fish and all hopes for her went completely out the window. He almost felt embarrassed for her but he couldn't bring himself to look away at the silliness.

God damn, she was as cute as a puppy, capable of melting even the most glacier hearts. She even described how to hunt the fish which perhaps held 'some' truth to it, it was the most unusual and yet fascinating thing the man had seen. He wanted to taunt her, to press the reality of the situation that she hadn't a chance in hell at catching a fish. There were fish bigger than her, how did she plan to catch one, let alone pull it out of the water? He sighed, carefully considering his words. Instead, the beast decides to challenge her, he lowered his massive skull to peer into those hazel eyes. So close he could feel the breath from her little nose. "Okay, so if you can catch a salmon, then you can.." he regretted the words the moment before he thought them and actually spoke them. Amusement finds his large features and yet he still looked equally as terrifying, a small growl escaping him. "..you can ride me where ever you wish within reason." He rolled his eyes knowing very well she wouldn't succeed and yet he was curious to see the look on the little panda's face all the same. He was an asshole but he wasn't a complete asshole.

He turned on those stocky, powerful haunches to stalk off toward the slight babble of that nearby running stream, not looking back to see if she followed. Instead, he allowed a lone ear to twitch ever so slightly to detect her whereabouts. He knew she would follow, perhaps even try to climb him like she claimed she could.

"So, why is it you out here alone, little bit? Are you lost?" His gravelly voice seemed smoother somehow, like cool water running over river rock finding its way into all the rough edges. Why else would she be so deep in the forest, half killing herself from falling from tall trees? Certainly this little creature had to have valid reasons.
