South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

She's habitually paradoxical, a parallel perpendicular;

The fairy woman was not pleased at all with herself. First of all, with her lack of coordination, something she prided herself in. How she could move as soundless as an owl within the forest, avoiding every dried twig with seamless ease. She could dance around tangled roots, but a person's leg? It was utterly deplorable. She felt the dread the moment she crashed into the ground, along with the worry that she had hurt the man propped up against the sturdy oak tree. The man who was not simply a mere man but a Fairy that was quick to get up on his feet, clearly not phased by the raven that flapped his wings so close to his face and screeched at him with a passion.

Despite the commotion he was nice enough to offer a hand, if she had noticed it. She was far too quick to get up, despite the scrambled fashion she did, she was terribly quick to right herself. She wasn't going to be rude even though there was a little voice in her head that wanted to bolt, to return to that safe solitude she knew so well. She hadn't met very many fairies besides her parents and their friends. Most were rather unfriendly trolls and she preferred to surround herself with her animals and natures impossible beauty. She didn't quite belong with the fairies and didn't belong with the humans either. It was why she had become a solitary creature, often misunderstood in her quirky ways.

She couldn't bolt without making sure she hadn't harmed him, she had looked like a mess, as though a tornado spun about her. Her unruly locks sprawled about, containing some debris picked up from the forest and perhaps even from her fall. He responded all the while Mr.Crow, the fired up raven, sputtered some very rude and mildly threatening comments. She couldn't allow that, it was entirely her fault she wasn't paying attention where she was walking. But that was Illiana, always lost within her head or in some heated conversation with a woodland creature of some sort. He spoke through the raven's loud caws and she peered up at the suddenly tall man. "Oh I am glad, sometimes I forget to look where I am walking." A small sheepish smile found its way to her lips. Of course, it faded when she glared at her companion with a stern look that rarely played upon her features.

She then scolds her companion, he was only getting ruder and clearly this man hadn't meant any harm as of yet. When she was busy giving that raven a stern look, the man had asked if she was alright as he boldly started plucking twigs from her hair. Her head snapped to his direction. Next thing she knew he would be pilfering her gems! She frowned, her silvery eyes which looked more akin to metal than a flat grey tone, landed fully upon the fairy male before her. She was slightly nervous of this strange man and wary of him for reasons she wasn't quite sure of. Of course, none of it seemed legitimate, after all, it was her fault she crashed into him in the first place. But she also never had a stranger try to pluck twigs from her hair.

She felt the cold air against the tips of her ears and by habit she ran her slender hands through the long pale locks smoothing out the tangle of her wild blonde hair, covering her pointed ears. It seemed to help her nervousness some. Even when there was no point to hiding those ears, she felt it best to do so. After all, why would she wear those ears proudly when it was the only reason why her family had so wrongly suffered. To finally answer his question, listening to his apologies of reaching out to pluck the twigs from her hair. "No, no I am not hurt, the ground was.. soft." She looked up once more with those silvery eyes.

The raven then protectively landed upon Illy's shoulder, ready to peck at the wandering hands of the stranger before her. He was quite content to glare at him, screeching once more as if boldly daring him to try it now with him on her shoulder. That beak surely didn't look very friendly to fingers. "I wouldn't try that again if I were you." That soprano voice chimed. Of course the words lack the threatening nature that words like that usually did because Illy wasn't really that kind of mean spirited person. She was protective of her forest creatures and her stash of trinkets and gemstones but she wasn't full of malice even despite the cruelties that have been placed upon her. It was a wonder why anyone would want to harm her at all. The crow tipped his head and cawed once as if he agreed.

The conversation shifted on to Mr.Crow himself. "Yes he is my friend, we look out for each other." She peered at the man getting a better look at his face now that he wasn't looking at her and more at her Raven companion. Their eyes met briefly when his gaze returned to her. "I am not sure you want to know what he said. He is.. protective of me and isn't usually kind to strangers." She would rather not explain but if he pressed she wouldn't have much of an option. She really didn't want to say that he wanted to peck out his eyes and that he was a horror of a man who tripped her on purpose, that he was a no good scoundrel. There were a few other creative choice phrases in there too but Illy didn't really have the heart to repeat it. "I really don't want him to peck out your eyes.. for the record.. It just seems gruesome, even for him." She blurted.

She was well aware that fairys were a rare commodity. "I wasn't sure if there was any of us left here. If they didn't stop torturing and killing us off, maybe there would be more. Maybe its for the better.. the fairies I knew were snobbish prudish bullies." She crossed her arms, hmphing to herself. She frowned slightly, but there was a sadness lurking in there somewhere. But she didn't really mean all fairies, her parents were the kindest souls she had ever known, even if they didn't understand their peculiar daughter, they never made her feel like she was out of place, they loved her anyways.

The man then smiled at her, he had a kind smile and dark eyes, like he was haunted by something. She wasn't quite sure. He reached out his hand, removing it from her pocket for her to shake no doubt. So his name was Andras, he seemed a little less imposing with a name.

"Andras, my name is Iliana, you can call me Illy." Iliana had somehow seemed far too formal. She decided to be brave and shake his hand, making sure to put some strength behind it to prove she was not weak. If she could talk to wolves in the forest she could surely handle one fairy. He then turned his gaze to the raven upon her shoulder, he seemed to puff up with the attention, a scowl on his bird-like features. Of course, most humans never really could recognize a bird scowling at them. "This is Mr.Crow." Once her hand was free she scratched the back of his head like one would a parrot, welcoming the touch as if she melted away some of that rigidity at her gentle caress.

"So why are you in the park just taking a rest in the park? I doubt a tree is as comfortable as a bed." Although, she had to admit there were some soft plushy areas in the forest that was far more comfortable than any bed she had slept in. Wasn't he worried about being so vulnerable out in the open? Hunters did frequent this place, she could spot them a mile away. Or maybe he just needed a moment alone, a chance to escape from whatever he wished to escaped from and Illy had somehow rained on his parade. One of the most graceful creatures in the supernatural world and she was tripping over legs of all things. Regardless, she regarded him with a slightly tipped head slightly curious and partially wondering if Mr. Crow had been somehow accurate in his accusations.
