South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The petite woman can't help the furious blush that coats her face, only for it to deepen as he states his next words rather bluntly. Though she doesn't respond to his comment, she bows her head, the heat practically radiating off of her in embarrassment as she clenches her fists and lays them on her thighs, leaning forward slightly, allowing her dark hair to act as a curtain between her and the Hunter. The woman was quite content to turn the conversation away from herself, not wanting to provide any further... embarrassment, lest she begin to feel more flustered than she already felt. After a moment, she turns to Alexander, inquiring if there was anything she could do. She misses that look of surprise, the woman hardly good at gauging other people's reactions, unless it was pain. That was, perhaps, the only thing she could tell was if someone was in pain from working in a hospital.

As he glances at her beneath those seemingly wise eyes, she doesn't remove her own gaze as she inspects him, looking for any sign of the man being uncomfortable. When he finally responds, that single syllable leaving his lips, Miya can't help but allow a touch of defiance to rise in her, she's ready to demand the man to let her do something for him only for him to explain why she couldn't do something. The fight leaves her almost immediately, her shoulders slouching as she looks at Alexander, sprawled along the couch next to her. Heaving an almost defeated sigh, "Oh," she utters softly, chocolate eyes finding those bite marks along his neck. "What do you mean by mortals? Are you not... mortal?" She asks before those eyes of hers travel back to his limbs. Though he was a bit sluggish, he still seemed to be able to move his body.

Truly, the next set of words are off her tongue before she even realizes she's said them, stating how very terrible he looks in that moment. He's quick to respond, that name so falling from his lips that instantly flushes the woman again, her cheeks coloring and her eyes widening. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to... um, sorry," she stutters through her words, entirely flustered in that moment as she looks away, desperately wanting to put her hands to her face to simply hide herself from the man. If Miya had taken a moment to listen to his tone, she might have caught that he was simply teasing her, yet, she was far too wrapped up in her own emotions to realize that the small lilt to his tone was that of sarcasm. It's that brief embarrassment that cause the woman to lurch to her feet, unsteady, as she stumbles, that quiet laughter so falling from her lips, almost tinged with hysteria.

She misses the way he reaches out his hand as if he could steady her, though she does look back when he explains she needed rest and water. Waving him off, "I'm fine, don't worry about me. I'm not the one got bit by... by that thing," she says, her voice shaking again slightly, unable to say that word. If she said it... it made it real and Miya wasn't sure she was ready to face this new world she had found herself in. Retrieving a blanket from the other side of the room, she returns only to toss it on him gently, leaning forward to tuck it around his limbs. Whether the man was cold or not, she hardly cared in that moment. She concentrates on getting him comfortable, even going so far as to reach for that pillow at the other end of the couch and tucking it behind his head, an apologetic smile finding her lips. "I figured if you had to stay for awhile, the least I could do was make you comfortable," she explains before settling next to her companion.

When she's comfortable next to him, she tucks her legs up beneath her, though she kicks those shoes off first, those chocolate eyes turning on him again as she asks just what he is. She can see the contemplation in his features, though she's entirely unsure if he was deciding to tell her or simply how to tell her. So, the Asian woman waits patiently as he finds his words. When he begins his explanation, her brows furrow as she listens as she realizes just what he does for a living. The moment it dawns on her, her eyes widen in surprise, "Oh," is all she says, her brain still reeling from all that she had learned. His next set of words has that defiance coursing through her blood again, a frown toying at the corner of her lips, "I just... want things to go back to the way they were," she mutters mostly to herself, though she was smart enough not to remain in denial. Yet, she didn't need to accept it now, she would do it later. Miya glances up again, her eyes instinctively drawn to those bite marks once more. That doctor side of her takes over once more, hardly realizing she was invading his personal space as she slides closer to him, her legs pressed against the man as she reaches out gentle fingers to brush that wound. Frowning, "Look, I get you won't let me bandage it, can I at least clean up the blood?" She asks, eyes moving to meet his not entirely realizing their close proximity.
