South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

Her mood was quickly deteriorating and she had only attempted to portal once. That damn snow sticking to her everywhere, her fingers almost instantly freezing at the contact with the wet substance. Glowering fiercely across the clearing, she's entirely unaware of the presence that stands behind her, leaning casually against that tree. The assassin is too wrapped up within her own mind, calling forth that fire affinity to warm her frozen hands, that snow dripping from her waterproof suit in that moment, even the snow melts around her feet. A satisfied grin curls at the corner of her mouth, the woman realizing that a year ago she wouldn't have been able to do that. How far she had come in her practicing, in that control for that fire. Dorian would be proud, though she hadn't had a chance to show him, their first meeting having been to simply catch up, discuss where she had been the last few months.

She was pleased to see the two men, completely happy and still entirely infatuated with each other. The men finally having set a wedding date, deciding they would host the wedding in Italy. The thought of traveling again exciting Vhalla more than it should have, she still had to find a way to get around Ivan, suggest it would be in his best interest... somehow. She suspected she would have to beg though. The thought ruins her mood almost immediately, that smile suddenly vanishing as she still uses that fire to heat her insides. The sound of that familiar voice has the woman wheeling around quickly, eyes blazing fiercely as that fire affinity is called again, unintentionally as her entire body is engulfed in flames. She reacts on instinct, to protect herself rather than thinking it through, the woman hardly registering that it was Laz who was casually leaning against that tree.

It's almost instant the way she forms that fireball at the tip of her hand, that ball of fire leaving it in a flash. By the time that fireball is halfway between them, she finally registers that it's Lazarus leaning against that tree, the man hardly having any time to move away from that oncoming projectile. Immediately she kills those flames around her and diverts the ball just enough to miss Lazarus, unable to snuff out the fire from that far away. The ball of flame launches right into the tree he's standing at, bark splintering through the air, the trunk, where the fire had hit, nothing but charcoal now. Brows arch in surprise as she watches him, folding her arms over her chest she merely pops her hip out, adopting that rather sassy stance. Once the moment has passed, she frowns at him in disbelief finally closing the distance between them. Dropping her arms, she prowls towards him, stopping when she was only a few feet away, her features holding a scowl.

"You're an idiot," she says then, rolling her eyes as she inspects him. Minus a couple of splinters, the man seemed to be in one piece, though she wasn't sure about his emotions. "You do realize that if I hadn't noticed that it was you, you'd be barbecue right now," she arches a brow at him then, "You must enjoy having your ass handed to you on a regular basis. Keep sneaking up on me, see what happens next time," she says dryly before she sighs, pushing her braided hair over shoulder so it falls behind her. "Are you okay?" She asks finally, that surprise slowly falling away only for a very minor touch of concern to twinkle in her eyes. "Well, now that you're here. Piss me off," she says suddenly, a coy smile tugging at her lips, "Apparently, I can only use my magic when I'm angry," she shrugs, not quite a lie... her magic was just far easier to use while upset. "I'm not leaving here until I've teleported somewhere else besides up," she scowls again, her hands absentmindedly going to her back, instantly remembering the way she had crashed landed. "What are you doing here by the way?"
