South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. But if this is where I belong, I won't satisfy

"If only I was a bird, I could use my wings without a care in the world," Navi thought to herself as she sulked about the townhouse, waiting for Andras to arrive. Houses made her feel as confined as a canary in a cage. Life just uselessly wasting away in monotony. She had gotten a taste of freedom again when visiting Somnia. Oh, how she had desired it so since then. It had become the main thought of her daydreams. Being able to jump swiftly through the entangled deep forest, wings fully spread, resting in isolation in treetops, overviewing the city and studying the wildlife. That was how she had wanted to spend her years anyway. People had just been too much for her. Always so needy and soft. How they could get so easily offended by just a push or a statement. What was the point in such useless interaction if there was nothing she would gain from it?

Peering out the window she notices Andras make his way towards the front door, opening it and nodding in Navi's direction beckoning her to follow him out the door. It was still awkward between those two faeries, when they had both snapped at one another when the meeting of the Shadow Court was held. So there they both were, walking down the pavement of the road as street lamps flooded the path in front of them. Although they were still on uncomfortable terms, there was a certain level of comfort amongst the silence between her and Andras. Like a shadow, she followed closely behind, not wanting to interact any more than she had to. He suddenly starts to make idle chit-chat with her, throwing out the idea how he was surprised for her returning to the townhouse instead of remaining in Somnia. "Well, I told you I would assist with council duties, besides, once I return to Somnia, I do not plan on coming back here," she boldly stated, eyes still glued to the road ahead of them. She watches his eyes slide down to meet hers and state how he appreciated her joining him. "Sure," she murmurs, now walking even further behind, setting more distance between him.

Again, he had continued with conversation, yet she would not give him the benefit of a response. Especially when he told her if she needed any assistance he would be there. "Hmm," she lowly voiced eyes shot towards her feet as the continued walking. There was some presence that made itself known as Andras sniffed the air and Navi's gaze made out a figure in the night's luminescence. Stopping, she studied the silhouette for any sudden threatening movement, when there wasn't any, she continued onward with Andras. Tugging at Andras' coat, she gave him a stern look as to tell him that it was a stupid idea to start moving towards an unknown figure. Even if it was another faerie, didn't mean that it would be a pleasant encounter at all. "What are you thinking?" Navi whispered harshly as she watched the confident man address the very, revealed fae before them. He motioned back towards Navi and introduced both himself and her. "Was this his idea of recruiting?" she inwardly expressed half baffled by how dangerous the situation could be, half impressed with his courage, or stupidity.

Andras bends and dips his head in a courteous fashion, Navi drawing behind him, no manners whatsoever showing with her. She continued to examine the woman, looking for any sign as to how she could pick apart the fae's personality that stood in front of her. "It's not the best idea to wander the street alone, especially," Navi eyed the woman's attire. Surely the woman would catch on as to what she was implying. "Who are you?" she asked with cynicism coating her sharp tone. She didn't care if Andras would scold her for not being courteous, at least she thought she would be the logically sound one and proceed with weary outlook.
