South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Abigail Hughes

This Mr. Crow was intriguing, at the very least, as far as Abigail was concerned. She was altogether inquisitive of meeting this crow man, that twinkle within her companion's eye even further coaxed to life that curiosity within her. Even so, she could hardly force the bird man to appear, the girl wholly content to simply wait patiently for his arrival if he should see fit to intervene. Rather, her attention was instead directed quite quickly to the inquiry of what she was. She was rather certain the term exotic hardly applied to her, after all, there was certainly nothing special about Abigail. Thankfully, her new found companion seemed to understand the sentiment exactly. Her assurance that she too felt not so fairy like only caused Abigail to nod quite firmly in agreement. Such names seemed silly really, when her life was no different than any off the mortal girls who went to school alongside her. In that, the two women were very much alike. They understood each other! It was the perfect basis for a friendship, she was sure.

That conversation so easily switched to the topic of food, one that Abigail was wholly invested in. The girl rattled so easily on about that bamboo and the contents of her new found friend's purse. Those fruits and vegetables were absolutely delicious looking, all ripe and juicy and ready for the eating. They were, perhaps, one of her greatest weaknesses. The only thing that was able to distract her from that food was, perhaps, the shinies that too came tumbling from the depths of that bag, shinies of the like that Abigail had never seen before. It was with curiosity that she sniffed at those gems, the girl certainly of enough manners to not pilfer one for herself. It was only once her own curiosity had been satisfied that she turned her attention back toward that ever enticing topic of food. Lamb! It was a fascinating food if only for how foreign it was. How exotic it was. Like them! She was sure, however, that Arlo would certainly know where to go for such a luxurious food, one neither Illy nor herself seemed to be far too familiar with. What she didn't expect, however, was the extension of that invitation to Arlo to join them! That would be...lovely! It was like a party with the bestest of people!

That comparison between those men in each of their lives, if they could be called that, however, made the young girl pause in consideration. Slowly she shook her head. "I think I am more like his Mr. Crow." She admitted almost sheepishly. After all, she was the one who had the habit of appearing out of nowhere to keep him company. Her thoughts of Arlo, however, drifted as her companion began to open those containers, the panda entirely ecstatic to take a piece of fruit to nibble on. She hardly anticipated the sudden hesitation in her friend, however, much less the offering of that emerald necklace. Her eyes widened ever so slightly, the girl inquiring if Illy was certain she was ready to part with such a gift. Illy's insistence that it belonged to her, however, only caused her lips to part in awe. "Can you....can you help me put it on?" She inquired, not trusting herself to simply carry the gemstone the whole day. She hardly expected the news that her friend collected such pretty gemstones. "You collect them?!?! They're so pretty! Are these all of them or do you have more?" They were so sparkly and shiny that Abigail was almost curious to see them, even if it was just to look.

Speaking of looks, Abigail was quite near fascinated with those pointed ears, the girl nearly loving that exotic feature just as much as Illy herself appreciated the young red panda's uniqueness. She was near determined to ensure her friend didn't view those ears as a fault. Being a fae wasn't all that bad, she was sure. And frankly, she was equally as certain that being a human wasn't all that amazing either. It was only once that flush of embarrassment crossed her friend's cheeks that the woman was willing to let that conversation shift, that crow largely still occupying her mind. It was a quandary to be sure, maybe her Mr. Crow was just like Abigail was to Arlo - a were too afraid to show that they weren't just animals after all. Still, even she found herself hesitating on just how to answer that question. "Hm......I guess......maybe sometimes he would do things that aren't very birdy like....and it'd seem like he could understand you!" Yeah - that alone was where she had given herself away. Though Arlo hadn't quite made that connection. Maybe Illy and her Mr Crow could have their own sort of happy ending. Or maybe she was just living vicariously through them...
