South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I can't help this awful energy
Goddamn right, you should be scared of me

Trust had never been Tetradore's forte. There had been very little within the feline's life that he found he could depend on and even fewer still to fit that role. His family had been stolen from him, his sister had betrayed him, any woman he had taken an interest in thus far had left him. No. There were but two simple facts Tetradore had found he could rely on - Risque's continued existence and Tobias' steadfast loyalty. He could hardly help that skepticism he held in regards to Mira's offered promise and yet, he hardly voiced such a thing, instead merely expressing his appreciation of her desire to keep him and his pack safe. She seemed wholly steadfast in that word she gave, the woman declaring that time would surely reveal her dedication to that very cause. That, at least, was something he could certainly agree on. Time did have a way of revealing the hearts of men and women alike. Time was a fucking disappointment. He remained silent, however, that inner brooding entirely kept to himself as the man turned the topic of conversation instead to the possibility of an alliance between himself and that enemy of a man he held. It was an idea that had been rolling around in his head for some time, one that he had spent near hours pouring over every minute detail and every possible outcome. It was a stretch - but it was a feasible one.

That low growl within the back of the young woman's throat told him all he needed to know of her current thoughts on the man. That anger still held a tight grip upon her, not that he could terribly blame her and yet, he was hardly ignorant to the way that blackened skin began to near crackle and pop with a sort of renewed heat from that very lava of her core. His ears perked at that growl and yet, Tetradore was hardly willing to let that coursing fury get the best of her. Her name was near sharp upon his lips as he so strove for her attention amongst the feelings that clawed at her. He watched as her attention turned abruptly towards him, her ears standing straight with resolve as the were-King began to speak of what trait he knew Frost possessed. Money, he was surely, held as little of a value to Frost as it did him. They played for games greater than that green paper, if only because of how easy it was to obtain for souls like them. He was almost hesitant to admit that he did, at least, have some idea that had so been stirring at his thoughts. After all, he would hate to be seen as taking advantage of the woman's position. There was no doubt he wanted her.

Tetradore watched as she stepped forward, that simple suggestion at even holding some way out seemed to still that raging lava, chasing it back from her hide in a fashion that saw that ebony crust darken ever so slightly. It was that very assurance that he held so much of her attention that prompted the man to offer what little backstory there was to provide of that meeting with his sibling. He left out the way she had near screamed at them both, the way she had blamed Tobias and himself for whatever had made her unhappy. He left out that blatant announcement of distrust she had provided him with. None of it mattered for what he had planned. It was only once that offer left his lips that the man fell back to silence, his emerald eyes poised entirely upon her, searching ever so diligently for any indication of which way she might be considering. That admittance that Mira had met Nadya shouldn't have surprised him by this point. After all, Nadya had a habit of digging her claws into any woman that wished to get close to him. He was, truthfully, far more astonished that Mira had made the effort to tell the woman no. He could hardly help that look of relief upon the feline's features as Mira admitted that she had kept their own acquaintance a secret from his sibling. Heaven knows they would surely be having a vastly different conversation now if Mira hadn't. "Thank you....for not telling her." He uttered softly, those emerald eyes flickered downwards in a small display of....almost vulnerability.

He was almost thankful as that conversation shifted back to Frost, his sister an eternally sore topic for the man. Tetradore's head bobbed ever so slightly. "In this, yes, I think so. I believe I have the right leverage that might prompt him to want the safety of the Nightshade pack, the sort of offer that would be too great to waste on chasing down any one soul." A rather pointed look was given in her direction, as if to indicate her quite purposefully that singular soul he was speaking of. It was not his word that Tetradore was relying upon - but rather his greed. He watched as the woman moved closer towards him, her paws sinking in the sand with each step and yet that glow lessened and lessened with each forward movement. Her very breath seemed to change in that moment, calming and steadying in a way that she hadn't been before. His intense gaze slowly turned upwards towards her very eyes as she so finally inquired just what he benefited from this little ploy - as if that wasn't clear enough as it is?

"I have other concerns that require my attention then my sister's love affair." He responded, entirely unable to help the bitterness in his tone. In truth, Tetradore might be capable of forgiving Frost for those cards he had played but he was unsure if he could ever forgive his own sister for the way she treated him. "And, of course, I get you." That darkness quite near dissipated in that moment, the were-King instead provided the young woman with an almost playful sort of wink. That teasing tone far lighter and yet he was entirely seriousness in that moment. She was, after all, what he was after far more than any peace with Frost or repairing of his relationship with his sister. Tonight, Tetradore was single minded - his attention wholly in her.
