South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

if we are so freeThen why are our minds not meant to be?

The sheer force of power that boomed from the Hunter's voice was rather pleasing to Braxton. He smirked a little as he couldn't help but chuckle, as he would feel himself be forced to take a step backwards... And yet another cigarette was lost to the force of this brute and fallen into the puddle with the other one. Braxton looked him in those hallowed and enraged orbs and simply shrugged at him with a cheeky grin on his lips.
"I dare say, you rather do like being forceful... As well as making me drop my smokes."
There was a slight irritation in his words as he had to pull out his pack and grab yet another one, and light that one up. Granted, he knew all too well he was asking for this treatment from the Hunter. Perhaps he was just slightly deterred at the fact he had yet to even finish one whole cigarette without it falling out of his hands. Maybe this time he would get the chance, but perhaps it wouldn't be around this muscled figure that was in his path.
Braxton could see that the man knew of his power, but couldn't exactly pinpoint it, and copy-cating wasn't the only thing he could do.

"So how is Sera? Hope she's well."
He did that just to prove that his gift was more than just one little parlor trick, but he knew it was a touchy subject being that he was a stranger and he could almost see the entire story of this man.
"I'd rather you not answer... That was merely to show you that..."
That pause happened again, he was reading him: Making sure he could match the exact tone, vibrato and lip movement before speaking again.
"Copycatting wasn't the only thing I could do, and I damn well know it won't save my life now."
Braxton couldn't help but chuckle at his performance. He flicked the ash from him smoke and lifted it to his lips. The warmth and the burn tickled the back of his throat as he would lower his hand, and slowly exhale the smoke after it entered his lungs.
He could see now that his antics were annoying this man greatly, and that was what he wanted. Afterall, it gave him just enough time to actually get enough of a read on him to know who he was, and what he did. But he had to see that expression just once more, when Braxton had called him "sweetness". It was a delightful sight; Kinda like a certain scene in a movie that you just want to rewind over, and over again. This applied to this scenario.

"Alright sweetness.. Clearly I've annoyed you enough. And I've stalled quite as much as I want to."
Braxton was lying, he wanted to stay around and tread the waters with the Hunter. He wanted to keep fanning the flames and watch it all grow. But there was a time and place for everything. This whole situation could easily turn into something more than it needed to be, and Braxton wasn't about to test his luck. Not that he wouldn't be scared if he got into a fist fight, as he had some boxing experience from his time in the British Army. But that wouldn't be enough to hold back this figure that seemed to be made from fire and brimstone.
"I do hope we'll see each other more... After all, I like seeing familiar faces. Especially ones that promise me a good time."
Braxton would cooly say as he winked at the other man and started walking towards the gate.
He did wonder if the man would follow, and he hoped he did. Because he wasn't through with him just yet, and neither was the Hunter with Braxton for that matter.
The dark man just knew he felt that way, because he could feel the seething annoyance and want to just see Braxton bloodied and bruised, but not at the same time.
But it was up to the Hunter on what he wanted to do, but Braxton was certain, without a doubt, that he would be leaving alive either way.
