South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

we built this city on broken glass

There was something almost satisfying in the stillness of that night ad the sounds of that forest. He preferred the trees, the forest, the earth itself to the bustle and smoke and noise of the city. Those buildings having a habit of pressing in and around him sometimes. Even his own house given to feel cramped on occasion and yet he dealt with such things in that same silent manner as always. Frost rarely inclined to share either thought or emotion in any sense. His own features little save for near pensive in their expression as they made their way through those trees and towards that chosen spot. Malia, he suspected, was inclined to feel much the same as he did within that wilderness. After all, they were near of the same ilk in a sense and yet tonight he was hardly focused on merely enjoying the solitude of that environment. His mind content to consider that plan for the evening and allow Malia to take the lead, in a sense. Perhaps the woman hardly believed herself capable and yet the stallion suspected she was far more suited to leadership then she chose to believe. He held little concern for her so attempting to usurp his own place in that pack, she understood the hierarchy far to well for that and yet he saw little need to allow her potential to be wasted and squandered away. She was useful, she was valuable. If she was not he would have discarded her long ago. Frost having little time for those without use in any sense. He desired to see her skills and test his own theory upon the girl. His plan explained with that same blunt efficiency he so tended to do most things. Frost hardly a man of warmth in any real sense. Business was business and that was all there was too it. She would either prove herself successful or she would get herself killed. So be it.

That near pout he was rewarded with at his command she was not to engage a vampire prompted little more than a lift of his eyes somewhere beneath that white hair. She was bold, eager and yet perhaps reckless in some sense. Recklessness though was hardly a poor trait, rather, it merely needed to be tapered. Frost aware the girl would hardly defy him should a vampire show itself and as such he merely allowed her pout to pass unchecked. He looked forward to seeing her quick wit and sharp mind put to the test this evening with little input from himself. The stallion content to merely watch over tonights encounter- at least until he was needed. If he was needed. Frost offering that simple explanation off his own talents then and those powers already in play, his lipq quirking just so at her assurance she was near jealous of those affinities.

"The stronger you grow the more talents you will find yourself in possession off. In time, I believe you will have equally as impressive skills."

Those cool, easy words were offered in that same direct manner as always as he moved to lean back against that tree and away from the clearing, his figure obscured easily within those shadows, his eyes rolling slightly at her apparent issue with the dog-form his illusion of her would take. The woman evidently preferring a bear.

"You are a coyote. Dog to coyote uses less of my concentration then Coyote to bear."

He answered her simply enough, the woman content to begin tonight's entertainment then as she chose to situate herself up and in the branches of the tree. A part of the stallion inclined to admit he was almost looking forward to that night. How he relished such things as this, things that took his mind away from all else and removed the drudgery of city living from his thoughts. It would seem tonight that they would hardly be given to wait long to test Malia's talents, the sound of another passing through that undergrowth caught easily by his own Were-hearing and yet he afforded no indication he had heard that being, nor that sensation of awareness that seemed to settle upon his slender figure. The man was indeed a Hunter- an injured one at that- blood tainting his own scent and yet- he desired Malia to recognise such things for herself. Frost glancing ever so briefly toward the woman to assure himself she had located that target and yet he made no effort to offer guidance in any sense as that Hunter collapsed against that tree to rest. This was Malia's plan. It was up to her to recognise the Hunter for herself and see to 'capturing' him. Few Hunter's were so lacking wariness as this one. Either the man was truly injured and tired, he was arrogant and overconfident in his skill- or he was exceptional enough in his talents not to fear the woods in the dark. Frost eyeing the man with a vague curiosity before the sudden sound of another surprised even him.

Two Hunters. Perhaps this was why the man had chosen to rest unguarded- he was not alone and yet the tone of the woman's voice indicated this was a chance meeting in turn. Her scent almost....familiar to him. His form shifted ever so slightly, affording himself a better view of that tree a short distance away, his illusioned green gaze settling upon the pair. That singular cuss word vibrating within his own mind at the sight of the woman. A woman he knew. The girl from the cafe. The one whom baked for him. How unfortunate. It would be....displeasing to him for her to be hurt. Yet even disguised as he was there was a chance she might recognise his voice. His affinity extended to Malia alone then. Those words offered directly to her mind. "I will speak to you like this from now on. The female Hunter knows me. I cannot risk her hearing my voice in case she recognize's it. Two Hunter's was not part of our plan- so adapt it. The woman will give you almost no trouble, she is not made for fighting and she is of use to me- the man I do not know. Begin when your ready. I will hear your thoughts so if you need help you need only think it with your mind. Do not disappoint me."
