South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Right from wrong. Everyone knew what that meant, even if they had never heard of the word 'right' or 'wrong' before. As a child there were little things that one learned as a pup. For example, it was best not to steal another's pup toy or food. It was always better to share with others. This simple lesson was lost upon the feral creature. All it understood was survival of the fittest. There was no need to think about others. As far as it was concerned the others were the enemy. Although there were a very few that could be tolerated. The spotted feline was mate. Even in her most animalistic state there was an understanding that no harm should ever come to him. Then there was the black cat with the dark green eyes. Just thinking about him caused that mark along the side of her head to twinge with pain, the lupine quite annoyed to be feeling it, remembering that he was not to be trifled with. Not after the first time it had met him. That acid mark a clear reminder of who she belonged to.

Although the twinge of pain in her neck did not compare to the blade that was lodged in her. Even though she was large she was unable to even grasp a part of that blade to remove where it clearly didn't belong. Irritated she rolled onto her belly, stretching her forepaws out to help ease the pain she was feeling along her back and shoulder blade. It was that sound of someone's voice shoving their way into her skull that made the large wolf turn her head around to see who that trespassing voice belonged to. Black lips pulled back in displeasure at that voice intruding in her head. A mixture of a growl and groan could be heard as her skull shook side to side attempting to make that voice disappear. As the smaller creature pointed her nose towards the Dark Hunter, her eyes moved to follow, and then look back at the coyote unsure what it meant. Not seeing the smaller one as a threat she began to focus on licking her paws, finding that it was necessary to groom herself now. Leaving the coyote to do whatever it was she pleased. Although it was noticeable that her ears remained pointed towards Malia, making it clear that she was paying attention.
