South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

yes, we should start with this city we live in then slowly overtake the surrounding ones

we built this city on broken glass

There was a certain...rightness, of sorts, to that return of Alexander upon his back. Frost, in the wake of that shared affection between them, readily inclined to admit he had missed the man even if he had refused to accept that very idea for several weeks. He had become so used to the Hunter's presence that the lack of him over that period of time in which they had ventured in separate paths had prompted a certain level of dissatisfaction in the equine. Frost too, had forgotten how easily Alexander rode. Those days spent attempting to teach that very skill to his girlfriend, a talent Nadya had, slowly, begun to show promise in, had reminded the war horse of just how poorly the vast majority of beings sat a horse. Alexander was, by far, the most exceptional rider to ever sit atop him and while he surely had no desire to admit such things aloud he was content in the ease the pair had found so readily as they made their way down that quiet trail at the touch of Alex's heels. For several moments still the pair was seemingly content to wander in silence, Frost enjoying that space and the nature that surrounded them. He always had been inclined to those more natural environments. The city itself, at times, prone to driving him mad with its clustered, loud, offensively smelling streets and lack of anything even remotely natural.

That very silence that surrounded them however only lasted so long as it took the stallion to organize his thoughts. Frost querying Alexander further on those very ideas the Hunter might well have contemplated for that Unit they had found themselves in command off. Those snowy white ears rotated backwards to better hear the Hunter as he spoke, Alexander clearly having contemplated the time and effort it would take to recall every Hunter and horse currently serving. Even Frost was inclined to admit some amongst those ranks, horse and rider both, were decidedly skilled. They were, in his opinion, few and far between and yet not all of them required re-training in any sense. The stallion content enough in that answer he was afforded that, in time, they would have that Unit organised. It was hardly any sense of guilt that prompted the equine to offer that hint of sorts at his own indiscretions those past few weeks. Frost hardly inclined to feel guilt over anything. It was simply not within his nature. Rather, it was the knowledge that once that administration found itself operating successfully again Alexander was likely to find that 'incident report' passed across his desk and discover those very acts all the same. It was better if he merely informed the Hunter of them now while the man was in a relatively good mood rather then wait for the inevitably fallout that would come were the man to find out later as he inevitably would. Alexander, as he suspected, was quick to seize onto the notion that Frost was perhaps more responsible then he was inclined to openly admit. The Macedonian King equally quick to remind him that his actions, from now on, reflected upon them both. Frost offering little more then that abrasive snort before allowing those thoughts to find his companions own.

"...how fortunate then that when I 'acted out' as you call it, you and I were not a team. I acted alone and they know it. You will suffer nothing for it though if it satisfies you to hear I will not do it again. I got what I wanted. I have no need to."

The sound of those heavy feet against the earth was all that could be heard for several moments, Frost allowing that pause for Alexander to contemplate those very words before the stallion saw any need to inform his companion of exactly what he had done. Those specifics, he was sure, were hardly required, Frost offering that overview of sorts.

"I returned to Iceland where I spent a week and a half travelling across the country to return to the place I was born. I inquired after my mother, they were unwilling to release her, there was something of an altercation. I walked for another week and a half back with a slight detour through several other european countries before my Mother and I returned here. She's living in the suburbs now and they're already started repairing what I broke back in Iceland. From what I hear the handful of men who ended up in the hospital will all make full recoveries."

That he had even survived such a journey on foot was, perhaps, at least some testament to the man himself. Iceland was hardly a forgiving country in any sense of the word. Frost having trekked over near half off it within his equine form to reach that very place he desired. Still, he hardly sought to elaborate any further on just what he had done to land several hunters in hospital. He had achieved his goal and as far as he was concerned the matter was over. In the least, beneath Alexander, that Council could hardly exact any sort of vengeance upon him. That trail wound further downward then, carrying them past that riding school and deeper into the forest, Frost decidedly attuned to each of those subtle touches off his companions legs, allowing Alexander to guide him away from those branches his blind side was incapable of seeing. That forest, soon enough, giving way to that beach. The heavy stallion making his way down that path and onto the sand. Frost was, on most occasions, hardly one inclined to the beach and yet the openness of that shoreline and deserted place was appealing to him. That decidedly animalistic desire to run tugging at him at yet for now he hardly allowed those equine desires to overtake him. Rather, he simply desired to....show his companion just what he had learned in theri time apart. Frost unwilling to admit that, perhaps, a part of him desired Alexander's approval on some level- especially after admitting to those indiscretions he had committed only a few weeks ago.

Alexander's insistence to show him readily saw the stallion wander towards that firmer, harder damp sand at the shore. Frost easily picked up that trot before sliding effortlessly into that canter, that stallion travelling smoothly along the shore for several moments before shifting that gait, his lead leg changed each stride over and over in that one timing beat. The war horse content to display that very skill he had managed to improve drastically on since their last ride. Alexander effortlessly riding those paces before Frost eased back to that trot, his ears rotated backward to listen to the man once more. The hunter's assurance he had made significant process was....pleasing. More so than he cared to admit. Praise from Alexander truly rare. Frost allowing his neck to arch over just that touch more in that distinctly stallion-like display of satisfaction within himself.

"I have been working on one other thing but it is not nearly as complete as that movement."

That trot slowly easily back to a walk before the heavy stallion paused entirely, those small, gentle waves lapping at the feathers upon his feet. His legs and underside were near sprayed with that sand from his previous canter and yet he hardly seemed concerned. Frost, instead, determined to focus on that singular other movement he was determined to try.

"Are you hanging on?"

That he had never yet managed to unseat Alexander remained to be seen, Frost hardly willing to do so unintentionally. The stallion offering that warning all the same even if he was assured the Hunter would only land in the water if he did manage to come off (not that he truly anticipated it). Those very muscles within his hind limbs contracted, Frost pushing those forelimbs upward from the ground in that half-rear of sorts, that stallion precariously balanced upon his hind legs for several moments before pushing upward from those very limbs to all but launch himself into the air. Such a task hardly easy for an animal as heavy as himself. He had not quite managed that kick behind with those very rear legs the movement called for and yet this was significantly more progress then he had previously made on that most advanced movement. His successful attempts at balancing upon his hind legs before lifting himself from the ground entirely was surely worth of at least some measure praise. The equine managing that landing all the same, that water splashing up and his sides and over Alexander's legs as he did. His head turned back then to eye the man hopefully still seated upon his spine.

" See? I've nearly got it."
