South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Oliver Burton

Quite frankly, the man was fuming. Concerned and altogether fed up. His family had been hunted for generations, his family had been forced into hiding for as long as he could remember. Even as a cub he remembered the necessity of moving from place to place. Always travelling, it was the only way of life he knew. Of course, he was too young to understand why. Now that poignant threat reared its ugly head, in the form of yet another hunter showing his face like this. It only made his blood boil within his veins. He had no mercy for him or his kind, all they did was execute.. wash, rinse, and repeat. He was undoubtedly promised to be paid handsomely. He wasn't the first either, and he knew better than to think it would be the last. He was just another one of many, there was always another one. One day, as soon as he garnered enough info he would need to put an end to this, once and for all. This was a nail plunged far too close to his heart than he would have liked, maybe the next time he wouldn't be so lucky. This man, the one who hired the hunter killed his family, and put his sister along with himself at risk. He got his revenge with his family before him and yet still he wanted more, he was like a shark in a frenzy after tasting blood in the water. Oliver's family had an ugly past, he could not deny that, but for how long did they have to suffer the blood feud of those long, long gone?

He used that rage, charged at him with all that bulk and power he possessed. After all, he wanted him to feel it, even if it ended relatively quickly. He was not one to simply waste time, not when time was so entirely valuable. Watching the man distort in pain, crippled and crumpled as a useless piece of discarded trash. He would hate to be on that feline's bad side. He could only assume that was a power she possessed. "Useful." He commented honestly, to be the bringer of pain would prove useful against one enemies. He wondered if his mother possessed such a gift that maybe she would be alive to this day.

She was the very quintessence of a cat, including the way she partook in this fight. She made sure her pristine paws remained entirely unsoiled, darting in and retreating in a way that was so very seamless and sensible. It was almost like she found a game within this, as though the hunter was her proverbial ball of yarn. If only she knew the weight of what this meant. This blood feud that went on far longer than anyone had to endure, this was his kill. There was no challenging that. The hunter simply could not live after threatening his life, undoubtedly finish his sister's life if she were here. He could have shuddered at the very thought, felt it wrenching his very innards, as though they were bunched within an ironclad fist that wrung tight. Keeping her safe was the reason why he did any of this. It drove him mad that she couldn't remain in the place he could keep her safest. There was no taming that wild spirit, roaming soul, as though constantly searching for something and finding happiness despite how small in the darkest of places. It was what he loved about his sister, it was why it was so easy to sacrifice his own happiness just to make sure she could still feel it.

He peered down upon that vile thing beneath him, disgust wrought upon his features. There was no guilt or remorse that flooded him, he wondered what would be the next assault now that they found him. How long had they tracked him without knowing? What did they know? Probably far too much. If only it ended with him, if only if he severed the cord now, if only. His body twitched as it shut down, as though, even in death it still wanted to revolt.

The panther woman responded, it made entire sense and yet it was in his nature to be skeptical to question every thing, as experience told him otherwise. He nodded his enormous head, his body still thrumming with that battle high singing within his veins. So much for that peace he craved. That skepticism landed upon that ebony feline, however, that hard angry stare softened as she spoke. She was not the enemy here. After all, she did at the very least prevented a possible end to his life. What good would he be then? "Fair enough." He seemed to accept those words as truth, it even possessed a modicum of respect at the very least from the desire to protect what was hers. After all, he would have done the same. There was simply no measure to what he would do to protect what was his.

She introduced herself with a saucy flair, amusement flickered behind those shadowy eyes. No one talked to him like that, save for maybe his sister. But even then, she knew to read his moods. "Nadya.. Don't we all have a name? Whether we choose to share it is another thing." He tested out that name within his mind, pausing, before offering his own. "Oliver." He said before she took off toward the waters edge curiously peering into its murky depths.

He liked it here, it was normally a quiet place. A place where he could gorge himself of fish and honestly just flop there. He roamed when he was restless, but this was his favourite place to loiter longer than any other place. The sound of the trickling water, the random splash of a fish's fin, the ability to submerge in the cool creek to cool down from the sweltering heat. That thick ivory coat made things incredibly hot in the summer months, and this summer was particularly scorching hot. "Plenty, not many come out this far. It hasn't been tarnished, yet." Didn't everything eventually get ruined somehow? "Does that power you used work on fish?" He questioned, he never considered paralyzing the fish with pain. It would make hunting so easy.. perhaps far too easy that it would lose its enjoyment.
