South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Abigail Hughes

Back riding was like....an art. And Abigail was like...the best at it. Okay, maybe she'd really only ridden on one back before. But she had been super good at it then! That had to count for something, right!? She was oblivious, at that moment, to the way that Malia sniffled a laughter at her waddling walk, the girl entirely focused upon getting herself up and onto Malia's spine. Thankfully, the woman was more than willing to oblige her request to be lower, making the whole affair far easier for her. After all, the last thing she wanted to do was hurt her new friend! It was only once she was certain she was perfectly balanced upon Malia's back that the young panda announced that she was ready. It was a careful balancing act as Malia slowly rose to her feet, her own feet shifted ever so slightly, making sure she was truly good and safe before Malia rolled her shoulders. With care, Abigail flopped on Malia's back, letting her own feet dangle as her head settled between the wolf's ears. Her own ears perked ever so slightly at Malia's inquiry. "Hmm...that would be super duper awesome! But even if it doesn't, at least we've found once to pounce, right?!"

Abigail's own hazel eyes watched the butterfly as it fluttered in and out of view, her gaze entirely attentive on it. Her ears flicked at her companion's inquiry, only for her head to bob ever so slightly. "I do have other friends! My best friend is a polar bear. He's super duper awesome! I was with my mom and dad before and they were were's too. Is that a pack?" She inquired, only for her attention to deviate by the comment of a horse. "You know a were-horse?! Is he super duper cool!? We don't have any horses where I was born but there were goats! They're kinda not cool. They make funny sounds like 'baaaaaahhhhhh'." She tried to mimic that goat, her efforts falling largely short and yet she was still amazed by this whole prospect of a big pony! Her attention, however, deviated as the little butterfly fluttered out of view, only to reappear as it began to climb over a small hill. "Do you see it! It's over there!" Abigail uttered, watching the butterfly with intensity. That little insect led them further upwards, the very crest of that hill provided a near impeccable view of a field full of flowers, the whole field filled with those fluttering, flittering butterflies! "LOOK AT HOW MANY THERE ARE!" Abigail declared, jumping on her feet. It was so many to catch! They were going to have so much fun!
