South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Her head was starting to feel all sorts of muggy, and yet, as she stared at the man across from her, she could hardly help that peculiarly demure grin upon her features. Really, he was kind of cute when he wasn't doing that scowling over his ex-lover thing. That kind of had a habit of dampening the mood of things. Serafina was, however, eternally quick to rise to those inquisitive quips of his bedroom behavior. It amused her, really, to so readily tease him on his own habits. So many she met these days were so uptight about such talk that the girl could hardly help but to indulge herself. It was interesting, the way he so focused upon pleasing his lovers without ever truly mentioning what it was he desired - the very sort of thing so intrigued the kitten's endless curiosity. It was almost a shame, really, that he seemed so determined to remain an enigma. A soft sigh left her lips as he insisted she not dig too deep. If only he knew that telling her 'no' was a sure fire way to get her to probe more. 'No' was perhaps Serafina's least favorite word. It was, perhaps, lucky for him that Christian was quick to distract her with, instead, the contemplation of the death of his ghastly little friend.

She could hardly help that grin on her lips as she commented of the ghost dying mid-orgasm, even if the woman at Christian's side hardly seemed nearly as amused. "I suppose there are worse ways to go," Serafina commented, with a small shrug on her shoulders. In fact, she could think of a few worse ways to go, none of which included such a blissfully pleasant death. The ghost, however, hardly seemed inclined to let the conversation linger upon herself, instead refocusing the young witch's attention on Christian himself and the 'trouble' he'd apparently got himself into. It was clear to both women at the table that he'd purposefully gotten himself into something far over his head in some effort to find death. It was, admittedly, kind of sad that he was so willing to forfeit the rest of his life for one mistake. He seemed so determined to see himself punished in the worst way possible - prompting a ready tease from the girl's lip to assist in the endeavor. The sound of his chuckle only prompted a giggle on the readily tipsy's girl's own lips. "Oh, darling, you shouldn't tempt me so." She commented, so readily rising to that challenge he offered her. She watched as he reached for another shot and, for the first time, Serafina found herself almost hesitating. Still...what was it about enjoying a challenge? It was with a resigned sigh that she reached for her own, the girl continuing her very efforts to mirror him in those very drinks.

She tossed back that drink, only to turn the empty glass upside down in front of her. His very mention of his dead lover prompted a soft offer from her as she focused her attention upon delicately stacking those empty shot glasses into a pyramid. A soft sigh left Serafina's lips as she leaned back in her seat, simply watching the man for a moment before her head shook. "He's not haunting you, no. You're doing this whole suffering thing to yourself." Serafina informed him, only to conclude that, really, the only way she was going to satisfy that ghost's request was to dismantle that very coven that Christian was so involved with, in the first place. The witch was hardly surprised by that ready laughter upon his lips. That doubt was...almost expected. She leaned forward, ever so slightly, only to inform the man of what she was entirely capable of. Sure, she might not be able to out magic a whole coven but Serafina was more than able to create an army of her own - an army of the dead. That very suggestion to show him seemed to intrigue him and yet, he so readily embraced the idea far faster than she expected. The corner of her lips twitched downward for a brief moment before the girl merely shrugged. "All right. Ready, girl?" She inquired, her stormy gaze turned towards the woman at Christian's side, entirely prepared to give in to his whim.

With that liquor so readily coursing through her veins and that flush on her cheeks, the young witch's affinities were perhaps not as pinpoint as they might have been had she been entirely sober. That wash of her magic didn't quite do what she had anticipated, the ghost not quite gaining that affinity for possession so much as her ghastly figure materialized into existence, viewable by all of the bar's patrons. Unfortunately, she was not the only one. Every singular ghost within the entire bar suddenly apparent to everyone, the sudden presence of those otherworldly prompted a scream on the lips of one of the patrons, causing an almost guilty look to cross Serafina's features. "Oops." The girl uttered, only to grab her bag before reaching for that last shot on the table. She easily threw that final glass back, an almost girlish giggle upon her impish lips as she reached for Christian, halfway tugging him out of his seat. "Come on, we should leave." She informed him between her laughter. Okay, so maybe this whole possession thing wasn't going as planned but that bar was moments away from being chaos and turning that power off seemed like far more effort than just leaving.
