South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

"Keep calm, relax... This might be an odd situation for you yeah, but you have to play this carefully. You need to just act like this isn't the first time you've come across a were. You'll be fine."
Travis thought in his own mind to himself, as he carefully watched the giant, dark cat revealed itself by climbing down from the rock and sitting a safe distance from him.
Okay, so far so good. The only thing on Travis' mind currently, was the thought of this cat possibly sizing him up and getting ready for a kill.
That thought was diminished when he saw the mouth of the large cat open. The sounds coming from the cat were ones he hadn't really heard before... Was this cat trying to talk? Trying to say something?
Travis stared curiously at the Panther as he put himself into a relaxed position, as he leaned forward and would feel his feet dig themselves deeper into the sand.

"Are you.... Are you trying to talk to me?"
Travis asked this like he would get a response outta the feline creature. Wow, he made himself look like an idiot right then and there. Probably even an ass. The only being here that knew what was going through the mind of the feline was the feline itself.
Hopefully he wasn't thinking terribly of Travis at the present, because this was not what Travis was thinking when it came to making a first impression on someone.
Especially with this being his first encounter with a werefolk. Travis would be lying to himself if he said he journalism spirit wasn't on fire right now; All the questions he had, and the answers he wanted.

Very much so, were all the possibilities running through his mind; Like a massive rain storm nourishing dry and thirsty Earth that hadn't tasted the sweet nourishment of water in months.
This wasn't the time or the place for such things though, and Travis knew that. The one that was clear here, was that this was a were. This meant that he could understand what Travis was saying, but how could he get this cat to reply back.
If only he took more time to studying Morse Code in college... No, Travis had a solution now.
"I'm going to trust you can understand me, so we'll do this; Meow once for yes, and meow twice for no. Does that make things easier for you?"
