South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Perhaps Zachary had pushed his luck a bit too much this time around, the shifter always having a good time even if it was at someone else's expense. And truly, it wasn't as if he was intending to harm the man's boat... he just really needed to itch. The thought that he could simply shift and then use his fingers to alleviate the sensation hardly ever crossed his mind! And man, did it feel good to rub his back against the bottom of that boat! He was too far out into the ocean to dive and use rocks to rub against, Willy traveling a touch farther every day to see if he could find his pod. Unfortunately for the sailor, he just happened to be in the right place at the wrong time. Willy very well could have gone on scratching his back, rather enjoying the friction and yet, the sailor seemed so very angry, shouting at him aggressively. It doesn't take him long to leave the underside of the boat and breach the water, glancing at him with one large eye in a wry manner.

The shifter doesn't debate for very long on the matter of shifting as he grabs ahold of that affinity and begins to shrink in size, bones snapping and rearranging in the process. In no time at all, Willy is looking more and more like an oddly colored merman as he runs his fingers through his wet hair. Goosebumps immediately pebble along his arms and torso, his human skin not made to withstand the ocean without the flubber. Folding his arms over his chest, he watches the angry sailor, an apologetic smile so curling on his lips. I mean, he really wasn't that sorry for doing it but he could at least pretend he was, right? Though, Willy had to admit he was a little wary of the spear that the man had managed to conjure up. The moment the sailor throws it away, Willy breathes a sigh of a relief, "Oh man, I thought for sure you were gonna spear me!" He says, laughing a little shakily as he slicks his hair back once more.

The shifter is unable to get another word in as the sailor turns and shouts at his dog, Willy all but cringing away from the sound. Yes, that dog was absolutely terrifying, he only hoped he could dive and swim faster than that dog could if he decided to jump in after him! Again, another wave of relief races through him as the dog finally stops barking, though he's entirely certain that the dog was glaring at him. Nope. He wasn't about to mess with that black beast. His attention is drawn back to the sailor, a brief frown drawing at his lips at the term flipper, hardly caring he said he would chop him up. "Flipper is a dolphin, I am not a dolphin," he scoffs lightly as he leans back in the water to produce his black fin. "Do I look like a dolphin to you?" He asks, genuinely curious now as his eyes dart to his fin. But then he's launching into more questions, Willy hardly able to contain himself. He hadn't spoken to someone it so long. He needed his fill of human interaction right this very second or he very well might keel over and die from lack of.

He's pleased the sailor responds and yet, his heart falls instantly, a dejected look taking over Willy as he bows his head slightly. Perhaps he shouldn't have gotten his hopes so high but it was one thing Willy did consistently and the outcome tended to always be the same. "I thought I heard dolphins earlier today," he shrugs, eyes on the water now as if he could see past the horizon. Again, his attention snaps back to the stranger and his... beast as the sailor begins to paint a picture so grotesque the has Willy swimming backwards slightly, putting a bit more distance between him and the boat. "Dude, what's wrong with you? Are you like, a cannibal or something? I can promise you that orca does not taste good," he insists, arms folding tightly across his chest again as he gives a firm nod. "I'm not dog food either," he sniffs, sticking his nose in the air in a pointed way. "I won't touch your boat again," he promises after a moment. Rolling his eyes, Gees, what's got his panties in a twist? It's just a freaking boat, he thinks to himself though he had the sense to not voice that opinion out loud.

Willy instantly brightens the moment the stranger asks what he is, eyes widening as a grin returns to his lips, "I'm a WereOrca! My whole pod are shifters," he nods his vigorously, and as if the stranger needed proof, Willy dives head first into the water, rocketing down, down, down. Shifting as he goes, he's a whale again in the blink of an eye before he changes directions and charges for the surface. Moments later, he breaks the surface, throwing his massive body into the air as he splashes on his side, successfully throwing water in the direction of the boat. If the sailor and beast was fast enough to dodge it, Willy wasn't entirely sure as he begins his partial shift once more. Breaking the surface once more, he laughs loudly and pushes his wet hair back, "See? WereOrca!" He laughs again, eyes seeking out the man.
