South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

The english vampire noted the flittering glimpse of surprise across the young girl's features. Quite frankly, Sebastian was hardly astonished at the look on her face. He doubted many chose to play with the vampire child, especially considering how she seemed to treat her toys. A sideways glance was given to the bound female and briefly he found himself wondering why he was even here when he so very clearly didn't belong. He shook his head ever so slightly, his crystalline eyes refocusing upon the ground beneath him as he gingerly pushed back on the swing, gaining just enough momentum to join the doll like vampire. He let he contemplate what game it was she desired, fully prepared to engage in whatever childish antics necessary to satisfy her youthful desires - or so he thought. He hardly anticipated for her to stop so abruptly in her swinging, though he too quickly followed. A part of him was hopeful that with the right manipulations, with the right willingness to placate her, he could somehow convince her to spare the life of the young woman she'd taken captive. Her sudden closeness to the young woman brought an unexpected sense of anxiety within him, causing him to halt, and rise from his swing.

His gaze trailed towards the direction she was pointing at, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly. Sebastian was hardly familiar enough with the area to know of which fountain she was indicating but he certainly did not like the direction that this so called game was beginning to take. Certainly he had heard of vampires that chose to play with the prey, indulging in all their predatory instincts to capture and kill them. It had never been his kind of game and frankly he'd never been the one to consort with such creatures of his own species within the first place. It was the realization of what he was about to partake in that caused him to shift uncomfortably, clearing his throat ever so slightly in process. Despite his discontent at the situation he found himself in, Sebastian hardly lifted a finger to change the girl's fate, instead silently watching her run off in the direction that the child had indicated with a clear since of panic and fear in her every step. Sebastian's attention shifted towards the child at the sound of her voice, his head bobbing ever so slightly in acceptance of her terms.

If there was any shred of hope, Sebastian had every intention of attempting to see it through, especially when it came to lives that hardly deserved death - lives like his. He purposefully pushed the memory to the back of his mind, lingering with patience in front of his swing as she continued to count. The moment she finally voiced the word '200', Sebastian darted off in the direction she had indicated. There was no question that his adult gait would be able to best her in an all out run but, quite frankly, he hadn't the slightest idea of where he was going. It would be close. He finally saw the young girl dashing between the tree trunks ahead of him, the fountain gurgling not far in the distance. For a brief moment he considered halting his run, a slight backwards glance given over his shoulder to spot just how close the young vampire girl was. Much to his misfortune, the child had kept up far too much for the teenager to simply 'win'. A small scowl crossed his features as he lunged forward, gaining the feet between them before, abruptly, his finger tips embraced her wrist, pulling her towards him and the dramatic chase to an end. Now the only question that remained was - what did he win?
